He couldn’t pinpoint what it was, but Nel was nervous about... Something. He ran a hand through his hair thinking what she had said through. Whatever she wasn’t telling him had an obvious impact on her arrival here, but whatever it was he would leave it alone. He was glad she was here, someone to trust and not stare at him slack-jawed as he walked by... And yet...

“Nelora, not that I am not glad to see you, but that is exactly what I was hoping. What happens if this goes sour? The entire clan is going to be pulled into this, they are going to blame us for the entire thing. I... They need you there...”

He frowned and turned away, desperate to catch up to his own thoughts; he hated worrying like this. Clan Lavellan had been kind enough to take him in and care for him. He already owed his life to them, this should be his battle alone.. And he was stuck here, no matter what he did he wasn’t going to be let go until he fixed whatever mess he had gotten himself into... And Nelora... He looked at her, and could see the wheels turning in her mind. She talked fast, but thought and acted even faster. She was already in a better mood than he had seen her in a long time, a short break from the pressures of the clan and her duty. Was forcing her to go back home really going to be better?
