Original September 1975 caption: “One person was killed and three others injured when three cars plunged into cave-in on U.S. Rt. 29 a mile north of Woods Mill in Nelson County Virginia early today. Section of road was closed to all traffic. Road was washed out in 1969 due to Hurricane Camille.”

Just because you are inland doesn't mean you are safe from the hurricane
Hurricane Camille happened 49 years and I still hear about how damaging it was to Virginia because of flooding from the mountains.
