Pain was nothing. 

Maul had experienced much pain in his years being trained by Sidious. He had been beaten, bruised, broke and left bloody without remorse. He had been cut in half by the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and survived on a junk planet for years..pain was nothing but fuel for his rage and his connection to the Dark Side.

But even now the Zabrak could tell that he needed medical attention. 

His ship had crashed, leaving him stranded on whatever planet he had been passing when the engines failed. He had managed to crawl from the wreckage, his mechanical legs damaged and causing him to limp out across the harsh terrain. The former Sith assessed the damage done to his body and was none too pleased.

Left arm very obviously broken, Maul held it close to his aching chest. Most likely a fractured rib or two, in combination with his shattered clavicle and a chipped horn, left the Zabrak feeling drained as he struggled to keep himself moving. 

If he was found like this he would certainly be bested. Some creature or sentient being would make a fool of him and take him out with ease, something Maul desperately wanted to avoid. So he kept moving, sticking to the growing shadows of the tall rocks as the sun began to set..and his strength wavered.
