Valentione's had returned again in recent days, frilly hearts and rosey ribbons decorating the stalls and walkways of Gridania. Nemi often assisted with the preparations of the events hosted by House Valentione, whether that was delivering letters to would-be lovers or arranging bouquets for show, she always offered a helping hand when the opportunity presented itself. This year was a little more special however as she had someone to enjoy the festivities with.
Though where was her date? Having agreed to meet together at the amphitheatre she waited away from the sea of people for her—but she was nowhere to be seen.
As she turned to sweep her gaze across the venue, she felt a sudden but familiar brush of fur behind her.
"M'ilque?" She glanced over her shoulder, "Were you invisible? I've been looking for you—Ah!?"
Within her hand was a cattleya, its petals blooming and vibrant, "It's rather pretty isn't it?" M'ilque smiled, entwining the flowers within the elezen's hair, "I saw it in a nearby stall..."
"M'ilque..." Gently tracing the petals she chuckled to herself, letting go to pull a corsage of her own from her bag, the colors lighter and pink. "We must've passed by eachother! I thought this would be adorable on you."
M'ilque's lips were left agape, a light blush dusting on her cheeks as Nemi weaved the flowers in kind, "It compliments yours well." Her ears fluttered sheepishly, "Thank you..."
Holding her lover close, Nemi brought her in for a kiss, a whisper on her lips as M'ilque's tail curled behind her, "Of course, sweetheart..."
