Why do so many religions that promote love cause so many wars?

Deep. Too deep. LOL HOW DO I ANSWER THIS. I guess because there has been a lot of competition between religions. Like one group says that their God is better than the other. Even though the religion itself promotes love and tolerance, mankind is inherently evil, and may tend to say things that could insult other religions because they believe theirs is the "right" one, and all others must be treated unequal, which causes disputes between the two groups. Disclaimer: I actually don't know what I'm talking about and I'm too lazy to proofread so it may or may not make sense.10/10 following great question. It actually made me think.
