nah today was unbelievable honestly. i volunteer at a cat shelter fortnightly and i’ve become pretty close with one of the other volunteers… a couple of days ago, they text me at 4am to let me know they’ve just thrown up and that they’re miserable,.. they’re telling me because they didn’t know who else to tell 🥹
i asked them whether they felt any better afterwards and they tell me “been rolling around since 3 trying to get comfy cuz my stomach up to my ribs was causing me pain” girl i mean im half asleep but sure, hit me in the feels..
anyway, today was the real kicker,. they’re still not feeling very well but they’ve come in to the shelter to take pictures for adoption and also to hang out with me (which is so sweet) and i cannot stress this enough, it’s just me and them in a fairly small room where new cats are introduced, and they just let out this ridiculously loud burp. f it was so hot and i’m like ‘oh wow that was impressive!’ and this girl tells me “ohhh i can do it on command!?” and proceeds to demonstrate. i’m Struggling to hold it together by this point.
for the next 3 hours, they just keep letting out these deep, wet burps that are fucking perfection,,, and totally shameless, except for when they’re complaining about their tummy and how it’s helping them 😵💫 yeah suffice to say, i barely survived today and now i cannot stop thinking about them ff goodnight 😵💫😵💫
