10 Fun Facts: Aza Kanaan! 🎉

AZA KANAAN:

Aza is (clearly) super energetic and always on the go! She mainly uses her heelies now, but she also has a bike, scooter, and several pairs of actual rollerskates.

Aza has spent the newest addition to the SpEd classes at PS 361; she grew up in General Ed until 6th grade. On top of that, she's not even from Applewake. She lived in another state (Philsquake) until she moved that same year.

Despite this, Aza is now the most popular kid in the room & gets along with everybody EXCEPT Matthew; often acting as both the class clown and the leader of the group.

This schoolyear (7th grade) is Aza's first time wearing a Hijab! She's still learning how to do it, though, which means that it can sometimes look a little off in earlier chapters. She'll figure it out eventually, I promise. (I also promise that I DO know how to actually draw it; grew up in a Muslim town 😎)

Never doubt her when it comes to a dare. She licked a door once.

She also once shouted "I'M GONNA BE A STRIPPER!" in front of the principal. With way too much enthusiasm and pride. (Thankfully, she wasn't serious-)

Aza has actually been banned from the Trainor-Fang twins' house by their mom for being too hyper and rowdy. However, this hasn't stopped her from coming over... let alone Levi letting her in. She often sneaks in through the window with Levi's help.

Is she on ADHD meds? Yes. They work well for her, and she's actually doing pretty good in school thanks to that! But medication can only do so much to calm her personality. She was raised by party people, and it shows.

Like Amelia, she only has 1 sibling; an older brother.

Her birthday is June 2nd. That makes her the fifth eldest of the classroom; basically, the middle child.
