I like them both, but I think AJ!Ema. 

31. Did you like what they did to Phoenix in Apollo Justice?

I feel... complicated. I think it could have been done well and interesting, but some aspects really bugged me, and I dislike how much focus they gave him.

32. Your opinion on Dai Gyakuten Saiban?

I’ve never actually played it! I knew someone who helped with the first big translation, and they told me that the translator removed all of the puns from the game, since they didn’t find them funny. That put me off from the translation + someone I’ve now cut off was really obsessed with DGS, so I just never got around to it.

35. Opinion on the soundtrack of the Ace Attorney-franchise?

AMAZING! Even in my least favorite games it still fucking bops. 

36. Do you like where the franchise is heading or did you prefer the atmosphere in the original trilogy?

My favorite Vibe is the one in AJ, which they took a hard left turn from in DD. I think innovation is necessary, and I try to be open to the new stuff, but I still yearn for a return to form. 

47. Capcom suddenly announces an Ace Attorney movie! Would you prefer it being live-action, 3D animated or 2D animated?

I’ve heard the live action movie is actually pretty good? I think a 2D animated one would be best, but we saw what the animation of the anime was like. A 3D animated one could be good for some laffs tho.

50. Do you think Dual Destinies deserved its M-rating?

No, I don’t. I think the image that even got it the M rating (the young Athena pic) was gratitious, and if they had to get an M rating I wish they had used it to add some cusses. M for Meanies, am I right? like I also think a part of the charm is that kind of Meanies thing, so I’m not asking for it to be littered with cussing., I just want Apollo to say fuck.

It’s from a dream I had at 6 or so - I can just vividly remember the entire Scooby Doo gang juggling my house.

The Imagine series! Imagine Family Doctor, Imagine Detective, Imagine Botique Owner... I get now that they were kinda shovelware, but I loved them as a kid.

I really like Beauty Queens by Libba Bray, but tbh I haven’t actually reread it in a while. I haven’t had a lot of motivation to read, sadly.

“On This Night” from Doo Wop Wed Widing Hood, lmao. I was around 9 or so, and I had just heard a part of it when I did my audition on day 1 of theatre camp. I got the lead part, and when I heard the full version I just... Felt it, because holy shit I was gonna be singing this!

💫- what makes you lose your train of thought?

I have ADHD, so... everything. Some specifics... my girlfriend. If I start daydreaming abt Sally in class that can be like, a While. Also, if someone presents false information, I absolutely cannot move on until it’s clarified. I’ll keep thinking about it.

what are your opinions on seussical costume design

You are extremely kind. Thank you for activating my trap card. My apologies for the delay in response. Let’s start with the Broadway version, which I still firmly hold is the worst version of Seussical.

I don’t… hate their Horton? I’m not in love with it, but I like the plainness of it. He is just a dude. But the Gertrude… I just do not like it. I wouldn’t call it too… flashy, that’s not the issue. It’s just not cohesive to me? Obviously it’s hard to convey that these are animals without getting to photo-realistic, 

however, i also hate this option. I personally really don’t like elephant ears on Horton’s, and I see where they were going with Gertrude, but it missed the mark. I think the dark sleeves of the costume really draw attention away, as well as the oddly shaded pants. Also, what’s up with the tail? not having it be a long feather boa is just an odd decision -not having that will remove some of the visual gags. I do like the gloves, though!

These are my ideals! A sensible gray shirt, nice blue motifs with Gertrude that are elegant if a bit outdated to convey her personality, a cat in the hat that doesn’t make me want to die, and a spinny hat on Jojo. what more could i want.

Of course, with costume design, it’s all really subjective. I get my ideal is maybe a bit… plain, and I totally see the benefits of having wacky costumes for Seussical! this is just my ideals.

this is evil though. please just put him in a suit.
