I am male I am the father I am the son I am the brother I am what I'm told to be Labeled These might not seem as bad as the others Men shouldn't mind being called brothers But when they say instead of my name My race, my sexuality It's sorta like this silent brutality We all face the labels But we can't let them enable Hate that comes from prejudice Some pick it up like a receptionist We need to stop the labels.
