hello!! re8 was a lot of fun. i'm not sure if ethan has rights lol. i did appreciate he had more emotion and expression in his voice this time around. but i still consider him pretty uncool since none of his one-liners land. i'm glad chris wasn't evil but they still wrote him to be kind of a dick which is too bad. still i was surprised how well he fit into the story. being an og character i thought his presence might overshadow ethan but i think chris's inclusion worked out well.
maybe the only thing i was disappointed with was mia and ethan never getting a proper reunion? and also no elaboration on how long mia was gone? i suppose there's potential for dlc but i would like to know more from her perspective. still overall the game was a good time. what were your thoughts on it?
hi!!! ethan definitely had much more potential if capcom treated him like an actual character in re7 amirite... and I think that sometimes he sounded like an awkward dad making awkward dad jokes it was kinda cute tbh but he still has long ways to go... I say he has some rights now :P
and yes chris fit perfectly indeed!!! my biggest worry was they turning him evil tbh and boi am I glad he's still our favorite hot headed boulder puncher!!!! 💕 he was kinda cold sometimes but he's older and doing this for too long the poor thing he gets free pass :P
and yeah I wanted more answers from mia!!! apparently she knee about ethan being a mold and didn't think of mentioning that to chris??? like??? hopefully it's dlc material indeed!
and overall I too enjoyed it, even if I only watched someone play it haha the bosses were much better and more interesting and the lore connections to previous games were nice too! I'm glad capcom listened to some stuff we complained about 7 and fixed them in 8! I'm very cautiously excited about the bsaa open ending/cliffhanger and how that can lead us to jill's much much much anticipated comeback!!! a girl can dream after all haha
