Being receptive =/= being submissive btw.

It’s true that the feminine is often receptive. But only fools conflate receptivity with submission.

When a devotee of a deity worships that deity, the deity is receptive of the praise, offerings etc of the devotee. Is the deity submitting to the devotee? Of course not.

If a rich person has a chauffeur who drives them everywhere, are they submitting to a chauffeur just because the chauffeur is ‘active’ and the rich person is passive/receptive? Of course not.

It is a sexually degenerate society (patriarchy) which turns the receptive principle into the submissive one.

Some women are sexually submissive, yes. But some men are, too. And it has nothing to do with who is ‘receptive’ and who is penetrating who. A man can be ‘the giver’ and be the submissive one. Penetration isn’t domination, and so it’s extremely weird that porn and patriarchal ‘femdom’ fetishists make people think that the only way a woman can be dominant is if she’s fucking a man with a strap on.

Tbh, I don’t usually use words like dominant and submissive to describe masculine and feminine polarity because it’s too simplistic (and often rooted in patriarchy), but I believe more women would consider themselves ‘dominant’ if we didn’t let femdom porn dictate how a ‘dominant’ woman looks and acts. Same with ‘submissive’ men.

But personally, I prefer to use words like ‘devotional’ (in this case, the masculine) and ‘embodied’ (embodying Goddess, the feminine) to describe such polarity in which the woman ‘leads’ whilst being receptive.

The embodied Venus says: Worship me. Adore me. Kiss me all over. Bring me your devotions. Show up in your glorious manhood. Fill me with your love. Let me be receptive- not submissive.

Tantra vs Neo-tantra

Tantra and neo-tantra are broad topics, and it’s not easy to describe them. Some say tantra is a “spiritual science,” and some call it a philosophy or even a religion. There are many translations of the word tantra and perhaps the most common one is that tantra is a weave, making everything interconnected, an underlying structure of All That Is. Yet another common interpretation for the word tantra is to expand and liberate. Literally, tantra means a theory, doctrine or book, such as well known Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.

Neo-tantra is also known as tantric sexuality or sacred sexuality. But is there really such a thing as tantric sexuality, or is it just a big misunderstanding?
