jackalei makes me so upset like WHY would jackson date a girl who has tortured one of his best friends from the moment she got to monster high?? this makes no sense to me, like in what universe would MR. SAVE FRANKIE like toralei of all people????? i just don't understand this ship and its popularity and i am upset, i legitimately don't understand.

and that whole damn "i don't do dances" "that's a shame i think we would have a good time" thing (wasn't that the thing that started the ship?) is just, ugh it sounds so much like the PUA/MRA/friendzoner mentality to me that I'm like THAT IS SO OUT OF CHARACTER FOR HIM I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD SAY THAT. what in the world, from everything we've seen of jackson jekyll, would make the writers think that was a good choice?

i mean it should be obvious that this fictional character is important to me (my url is official who?) and i just do not understand the writing choices that are being made with him and it's really starting to make me sad. ignoring whatever dynamic the writers are playing up or playing down between him and frankie (because the whole IS IT DATING OR FRIENDS??? thing was getting old from the moment it started) i just really feel like his friendship with frankie would outweigh 'cute werecat girl.' why do i think so? because 'hey cute werecat girl has a consistent history of aggression and meanspiritedness toward my beast ghoul including helping rival schools cheat to win (monster mashionals and SKRM) and supporting people who are more than willing to PHYSICALLY HARM OTHERS AND PLAN TO DO SO ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS because she doesn't like frankie's group of friends for petty and arbitrary reasons (sweet 1600, SKRM)' and I really don't think Jackson would be down with that if he were a real person and not a character in a toy line with a personality being written to sell toys. i would like to think that his respect for frankie would override any 'yeah she's a huge bitch but wow hot' feelings he might have toward toralei. and the ship is popular with a bunch of bnfs and i'm like aaaaaaah, what is characterization how is this ship so popular among people who like good writing?
