#nerd sing

Ok, so my Nerd Sing group is practicing this piece. This is not us, but it’ll give you a general idea. It’s fun. This is prettier than we’re going for at the moment. Last night, our director told us, “So you remember that scene in A Knight’s Tale where they’re all drunk in the pub and singing ‘HE’S DRUNK! HE’S PISSED! HE’LL SEE YOU IN THE LISTS, LIECHTENSTEIN, LIECHTENSTEIN?’ Yeah, that. Give me that.” 

So we did. It was delightful and so much fun and I’m having the best time I’ve had in years now that I’m singing again.

Kids have been at Grandma’s since Friday. I also had a surprise!job interview on Friday so that was cool. I haven’t done SHIT all weekend other than watch TV and hang out with @potentiallydead and it’s been great. Starting to miss the kids, though, so I’m glad they’re coming home today. 

Unfortunately, that means I have chores to do according to my list. Which means I need to get off my butt and possibly put clothes on. And then Nerd Sing later, because it’s Monday. 

@rogue-panda, I’ll try to get our director to record some stuff tonight. Also, @mundungus42 - one of the ladies from Nerd Sing looks like she could be your sister or cousin. It took me forever to figure out where I thought I’d seen her before!
