Fun fact: Cyclops is a plant!
OMG!! ALF Nightcrawler invented the concept of a cellphone!!!!
Also there’s an Alf X-men comic that apperently exists??? I found it in an antique shop?? How come I’ve never heard of this. I’ll take some picture of some more panels that I find interesting.
Headcannon
Scott Summers puts heavy mascara on under his glasses. When he first tried it, it sucked because his he did it with his eyes closed; but overtime he perfected it and it's fabulous. Also occasionally Jean and Jubilee will do all his eye makeup.
Going to see X-men Apocalypse!!!! Can't wait to see my child in the media again!! So exCITED!!!!
misconception that lex luthor is cis
ooc ::;
literally the greatest untruth of our age.
there is no such thing as a cis lex luthor. there just isn’t. they are all trans and that is final.
even that lex who’s a girl in that one au where she’s married to alexander luthor and when he dies, because her name is alexandra, she starts going by lex when she decides that her goal in life is to destroy superman. she’s trans too.
it’s just fact, ok?
this is particularly obvious in universes with younger lexes – for example, take smallville lex, who is clearly stealth trans and has been since he was a young child. from his relationship to his father being fraught with conflicts colored by masculinity and the performance thereof, to the fact that shirtless him is the rarest of rarities (up to an including a scene he shares with a much more shirtless jensen ackles, where they’re both being tortured, but only jensen’s been undressed.), smallville!lex is super trans. not to mention it’s his genetics mixed with clark’s to make conner – no matter what the mad science is, it is much easier to make a baby when you have an egg cell to go from. just saying.
doj lex is also really, really trans. the thing that really cells it for me is that line about ‘no man came from the sky came to save me from daddy’s fists and abominations’ – there is at least one continuity where dad luthor has beaten lena to death, and the religious tenor taken on by this version of luthor sr. would be even more appropriate if lex was trans or even otherwise lgbt. the implications just sort of abound.
it also adds a fascinating dimension to the whole creation of doomsday that i’m gonna have to sit down and discuss in full someday.
but until then, this will do.
you always look so amazing
thanks ;v;
nerdclops:
I reviewed the trilogy and thought you’d want to see it!
Thank you for this exceptional review!!! It sounds like you got exactly what I was going for. This is also a really well written review and gets at a lot of the meat of the series that most reviews don’t address. Thank you very, very much!!!
Please note that this review contains complete spoilers for the novels.
Okay so I loved the A Game of Wits stuff. A+ would definitely read more.
Thank you very much! That means a lot to me.
There won’t be much more on here in terms of direct canon, but expect a lot of character studies, some AUs (’cause I can’t help myself) and pieces of canon I think stand alone nicely, as I work towards finishing the final draft of the first book.
