It made me feel like I had another family and I always had someone to talk to with the same interests. I'm not a big reading fan either, so John actually wrote an amazing book that I actually wanted to read. Hank helped me get into science and how interesting it gets.

John, Hank, and the rest of Nerdfighteria have educated me beyond what I ever thought a YouTube community would.
Not only do they make me laugh and have helped to expose me to a number of things that I have grown to love, I have learned more about the world I live in and therefore about myself. Because of the Vlogbrothers and their videos, I have learned to see the world on a wider scope and learned that I often need to delve deeper into issues and turn them upside down to fully understand them - thanks to this community, I have simply become more knowledgeable on current issues and events that are relevant to my life and the lives of those around me.
The Vlogbrothers and their work have really given me a platform to not only see the world as it is (world suck and all) but also to provide me with a platform to help decrease that world suck. So John, Hank, and Nerdfighteria, thank you thank you thank you; you have changed me more than I might have ever thought you would, and probably more than you know.

Not a problem! We have an mix of different play styles for everyone. There’s Economy, Skyblock, Creative, and Survival at the moment. We’ve got a Minigames server we hope to open up very soon. Beyond what you can do in Nerdcrafteria, we also have a fantastic playerbase full of really awesome people. We hope you can come join us! :D

Sometimes, I think of the things Nerdfighteria does and I'm just baffled. Like how is all this real?
We raise over a million dollars for charities around the world.
We show that no one should discount teen romance at the box office because Nerdfighters will turn up in force.
We sponsor a freaking soccer team!!
We continue fight world suck in big ways and little.
John and Hank reach out in a multitude of education ways via a website, making it free for all.
And then they found a funding platform that is solely dependent on fan support and not ad revenue, and it's successful!
It's just an amazing place to be, and I'm so glad I stumbled into their videos nearly two years ago now when I was struggling through my first semester of graduate school.
Nerdfighteria is just an amazing place to be, and I'm always gonna be proud to be a Nerdfighter!
