Questions I was asked:
1) Do you like to cook? If so, what food? I like attempting to cook! I'm not great at it though. In my apartment we usually don't have time to go to the grocery store and get fresh stuff for good dinners, so usually I'm stuck making pasta and just kind of throwing in whatever's on hand. oof.
2) Favourite genre of music? Alternative, probably, unless you consider 'goopy acousticky stuff' a separate genre. xD I also enjoy a lot of music that's considered pop.
3) Favourite artist or band of that genre? Ohh man. For my favorite alternative artist, I always flip back and forth between Paramore and Jack's Mannequin - probably Paramore, since I've known them longer. Favorite 'pop' artist is Sara Bareilles, no contest. But my favorite artist, probably of all time, is Pentatonix, which is an a cappella group that doesn't exactly have a genre...? I guess I'd call them a top-40 type group, but most of the appeal of their music isn't the music itself, it's their particular execution of it.
4) Favourite song by that band? Dammit, I didn't read this question before answering the previous one xD My favorite Paramore song is either Fences or Careful, my favorite Jack's Mannequin song is either Swim or At Full Speed, my favorite Sara Bareilles song is either Breathe Again, Gravity or Uncharted, and my favorite Pentatonix song is either Radioactive (with Lindsey Stirling UGH IT'S THE BEST) or Love You Long Time. ooooooof.
5) Live or album? I've seen Pentatonix, Paramore and Jack's Mannequin live, along with a few other artists, but those three were my favorite shows (Pentatonix is RIDICULOUS live, oh my GOD). However, I generally don't like crowds, so I'm very hesitant to see a band live unless it's a small venue with an intimate setting (Seth Glier at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia was one of the coolest shows I've ever been to), or if it's a band I know I'll enjoy (10/10 would see PTX again).
6) Headphones or stereo? Headphones, definitely. I don't actually own any sort of stereo equipment besides my laptop, and I like headphones because you get to feel the music moving around in your head.
7) iPod or CD’s? Uhh, iPod? I don't seriously think anyone would answer CDs unless they were doing it ironically, or immediately followed up with "... because it's closer to 8-track vinyl"
8) Are you a city or a country person? 104% city person. State College isn't a city per se, but it's laid out like one in that everything you need (except walmart) is within 10-minutes (walking) of campus, and ugh I just really hope I end up in a city Dx
9) Do you have any pets? If so, what kind? I have two cats, both American shorthairs. Muffin is small and fat and dark gray and she hates me, and Cuddles is long and lean and gray with white feet and she's my baby <3
10) Do you like eating out or staying in? Staying in - eating out is expensive, you don't exactly know what you're eating, and if you're with friends, you could all just hang out at someone's place and cook together, which in my opinion is WAY more fun : ]
11) *the big one* Cake or Pie? Cake. Please.
