D’awww, I’ll keep him
Today is SpouseFaux and I’s made-it-legal anniversary, which we celebrate with small gifts and usually some smooches. He got me a yummy box of pistachio lokum and the first volume of Wotakoi, which is so dang perfect! He outdid me this year for sure (I got him an eShop gift card, his favorite sour gummy bears, and a card saying we should give each other the business as soon as we catch up on sleep. Rough week at our house!).
We got married a few months before our wedding with friends and family, and I hope I never forget how perfect and beautiful a July day it was, breezy and comfortable outside as we stood in one of the shaded alcoves of the state Capitol grounds and a lawyer/commissioner of the court married us with her two adorable new paralegals as our witnesses. We got brunch afterwards and the entire day was chill and lovely. It was amazing, just us, and super cozy. Very happy memories.
Happy weekend! I’ve got a few new WIPs, have not made a lick of progress on old WIPs. 😅 Will try to make these publishable asap!
