here we are, all of the Trinjiberry/Trenchcoat Dorks wedding doodles I've made so far. Yeah that's right, so far. I'm not finished with making doodles, not yet.
Also I've finally figured out how to draw characters kissing (just delete the mouths lol)
The Trenchcoat Dorks will get their own wedding oneshot/multi-chapter short story, but for now, you get drawings ^v^
I really should stop making new OCs but hey listen, i love the nerd/delinquent trope I HAD to draw these new sweet boys :> They dont have names or set designs but I did scribble some comic pages of their story! Hope I can update more of them soon! :D
To the guy today who asked me how you can be both a nerd and a punk I say "like this" because the whole point about being a nerd and being punk is you don't try to be something, you just are! #nerdpunk
Hallo frands! I'm looking to make myself a nerdpunk vest soon, and I'm going to obvs need a bazillion patches for it! I've already found out about girlpingang but can anyone else point me to some sites selling nerdy/geeky/feminist patches? Thanks! :)
Synopsis: After three long and happy years together, the next step for Tristan, Benji, and Holly is quite clear.
Timeline Placement: Two years after Fans Vs Favorites, June 16, 2027 (Holly's 22nd birthday)
Tristan loves Benji and Holly.
Benji loves Tristan and Holly.
And Holly loves Tristan and Benji.
The three love each other. They've loved each other since Carnival of Chaos. That much has been obvious.
Where there's one, the other two are close by.
Tristan loves how their boyfriend and girlfriend can make them laugh and blush.
Benji loves how his theyfriend and girlfriend appreciate and welcome his goofiness with open arms.
Holly loves how her theyfriend and boyfriend are so genuine and real with their emotions.
Ever since Tristan's 21st birthday, Holly had been thinking about the next step in the relationship. Engagement.
The little punk wasn't sure whether or not the goth or the goofball were ready for preparing for marriage. She knew she was, but that was just her. Still, she decided to put her jewelry-making skills to work and make engagement rings for the future.
It was simple. She didn't do anything grandiose or fancy. That wasn't her style, nor was it Tristan or Benji's. She used silver for the bands, and all three rings were embedded with gems specific for each of them. Amethyst for Tristan, topaz for Benji, and bloodstone for Holly.
Alongside the customized rings, Holly also 3d-printed mushroom-shaped ring boxes and painted them in the respective colors. Purple and black for Tristan, orange and brown for Benji, and red and green for Holly.
Holly spent the better half of a week working on them. She could easily keep them hidden in her office/workspace, so when all three were ready, she could retrieve the rings and be able to propose.
Now was the night of Holly's 22nd birthday. She had visited her family earlier that day, and she was too distracted by her new jewelry-making tools that she was sorting to realize that the special engagement rings (and their boxes) had been swiped.
After Holly was finished sorting her new tools, she left her workspace and into the living room of the apartment, where Tristan and Benji had been waiting with quite possibly the best thing Holly could think of. Chocolate cherry cake.
Grinning, he went over and basically pounced on the nearest human, which was Benji. "Holy fuck! You two are the absolute best!"
"Oomph..." the pounced-on nerd blepped as he was pinned down by the rowdy woman. "You coulda warned me, Berry."
"And where's the fun in that, Ben?" Holly chuckled as she rolled over and pulled Benji onto her. "It wouldn't be as much fun if I couldn't, y'know, surprise ya! Besides, you should've realized this would happen! We've been together for what, three years now?"
"Yep, three years." Tristan chirped, letting out a cute giggle as they reached down to pull Holly and Benji up. "And these three years have been the best ever. Y'know that?"
Benji and Holly looked at each other, then at Tristan, and smiled at them. "Yeah, we know that." Benji sat on the couch. "Can't believe I fell for the best people ever! Two people who really appreciate my goofiness!"
"Oh really?" Tristan hummed, their ears flicking. "I can't believe I fell for two people who really know how to make me laugh, or blush!"
"Well," Holly clicked her tongue. "I can't believe I fell for the two most genuine people! You rarely see it, nowadays. It's like striking gold twice!"
Tristan hummed softly, their gaze softening. "Well, Holly?"
Holly perked up a bit and slightly tilted her head. "Yeah?"
They took a deep breath, looked at her, then at Benji, and then at the ground. "I love you two. More than you could ever know. You two love me. More than I could ever know. I don't think I can imagine a reality or future without you two." They shifted where they stood, getting down on one knee.
At that moment, Holly saw the outline of the mushroom boxes in Tristan's jacket pocket.
Benji reached out to grip Holly's hand, his eyes widening. Holly's did too.
Tristan reached into their jacket pocket and pulled out both the orange and brown ring box, and the red and green ring box. "Hollyberry Jamie Chorale, Benjamin Yuki Hattori..." Tristan popped both boxes open. "Will you two... will you two marry me?"
There was silence for a couple of moments, broken by the soft murmurs of Benji.
"T-Tris..." he trailed off, his eyes locked on the goth.
"Tristan... y-you swiped the rings I made." Holly said, barely believing her eyes. "You swiped the rings... you sneaky, adorable bastard..."
Tristan's ears rose as Holly said that. "Yeah, I stole 'em from under your nose. It was pretty easy, you get distracted easily." One ear lowered while the other stayed up. "So... what're your answers...?"
"I..." Holly looked at Benji.
"Well..." Benji looked at Holly.
They both proceeded to tackle-hug Tristan, Holly nuzzling into their chest, and Benji leaning his head against theirs. "Yes!" They said at the same time, the joy in their tone basically spilling out.
"Holy shit, yes! I thought I'd be the one who'd propose, but this is honestly even better! And on my birthday! Oh Tristan, you're such a dork!" Holly looked up at them with teary mismatched red and green eyes.
"Absolutely, Tris! You're so, so sweet! I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life with any dork that isn't you or Holly!" Benji pressed a kiss against their cheek, tears rolling down his cheeks, leaving his evergreen eyes glossy.
Tristan chuckled softly, their orchid eyes brimming with tears in a matter of seconds. They gently gripped Holly's hand and slipped her ring on before doing the same with Benji and his ring. They then pulled the purple and black ring box out of their pocket and handed it to Holly, expecting her to be the one to slip it onto their hand.
Instead, Holly shook her head and handed the box off to Benji, who gladly took the liberty of slipping the ring onto Tristan's ring finger.
The goth got themself comfortable on the floor and the nerd and the punk stayed cuddled against them. The three basked in each other's love and warmth. An unspoken agreement. Today would mark the next chapter of the three's undying loyalty to one another.
To Tristan, it was amazing, even if the idea to swipe the rings and do the proposal themself was sporadic and on a whim.
To Benji, it was surprising, to be proposed to like this, especially on the birthday of one of their beloveds.
To Holly, this was perfect, even if she wasn't the one who proposed, this was better than her doing it herself.
For the record my brain is overtaken with wholesome so gimme ur positive act!au headcanons !!
hell yeah, more spewing out Actor AU headcanons!
The moment the cast of Carnival of Chaos met Tristan, they all had a very similar thought: Protect them.
Tristan is quite literally the most precious thing in the studio. A couple of behind the scenes videos have shown just how frickin soft the cast is with the goth.
Emily has started to develop a fear of Diego. Mostly because of the Mathlete scenes. Mostly because of how Diego reacted.
You know the fake idol Benji made? It was originally supposed to be a Chekhov's gun, but he ended up forgetting. Mostly because of how he usually doesn't get his scripts on time.
After the disaster that was All-Stars, Emily was put in charge of finalizing scripts, and is actually the one to put the braille on Richard's scripts ('cause in like the first DCAAU post, I mentioned that Actor!Richard is going blind)
For the fans who watch the behind the scenes of Carnival of Chaos, the highlight for them is seeing Tristan and Benji get hit on by the makeup crew member, Holly. She's usually the one to do their makeup, because the two usually freeze when she even so much as cups their cheeks.
And speaking of the makeup crew, Ethan struggles immensely when he tries to do Jade's makup. Why? He gets so goddamn flustered.
Benji was the first person (other than Ivy and Zaid) that Tristan was fully comfortable around. All he did was be extremely sweet to them, by the way <3
Sometimes the cast (and production/writing/makeup crew) will play try not to laugh. Everytime, the off-screen nurse, Darby pulls out this one character that has worked over and over again. And ever since his lost his leg, he turned his character into a cyborg, and that's somehow the funniest crap ever.
A lot of bloopers reels include Logan misreading words, Benji saying random out of pocket lines, or Zaid and Ivy being unable to stand being away from each other and getting extremely handsy with each other.
