I've just come back from a party at my brother-in-law's place. He just recently got into this new apartment. His life is looking up in a big way. He has a good job, a nice new apartment, and a cool girlfriend. I am happy for him in so many ways.
About this party, I have to say that it doesn't matter how many people show up to your party; if they're all cool, the party will make itself known.
Other than my brother-in-law, there were only six people if you include me. He managed to invite only nerd to his party, so we all hit it off like crazy. I went over to him partway through the party, and I was like, "Dude, your party is bumpin'. Way to go, bro."
All the women were strong-willed, empowered souls and all the men were open-minded and intelligent. It made for a nice vibe throughout the whole event. Plus, there was a great mass of beer; I don't think we drank it all.
