When your 2 min video assignment for a class can be anything you want, why not go for a dream role? Except not actually Dream. That's the younger brother. I don't know how I stumbled upon The Sandman, but I remember being in high school and just discovering the freedom of being able to explore nerdy and fantastic things without (much) restraint. I remember reading the chapter with Death talking to Dream at the park and thinking to myself "this lady is drawn with some East Asian features. She could be me.". I've held on to that ever since, especially with how much I've fallen in love with her character every time she came up in the comics. One day, maybe.
