This, kiddies, is why I talk to my clients at every stage of the creative process...
Today I learned how important it is to ensure I talk to commission clients at every stage of the process.
The above photo is only two minutes work in the white paint but you can see where I was going with it and had I not spoken to the client to confirm his requirements, I'd have lost a lot more time to rectifiying my error. I apologise for the smudges of white paint but I'm not in the habit of moving painted pieces until I know for certain they are dry. I sprayed back over this to make it more to my clients liking.
On the bright side, this is something like the finished gun should look like with all the various pieces in place. The obvious glaring omission is the dart turret because apparently, my armoury gremlins decided it was optional and have carried it off somewhere. I shall have to hunt them down and staple a few to the wall for good measure. Now where did I put my staple gun? Hmm...
