Taking a page out of @nemorrium.arts book and dressing up my nerfer Hannah to match her signature Mastodon!
Some design details: -Hair curls are reminiscent of the tusks of actual Mastodons -Used a puffy jacket since Mastodons were a woolly animal! -I put "MEGA" on the band of her top as a call to Calvin Klein wear
The mastodon itself is traced, don't be too impressed LOL.
The Toa Metru in a Nerf War:
Nokama: Is only occasionally joining in, but she tries to stay out of it because the boys are being rowdy. She's helping them hide or hanging out anyone who's also sitting out
Nuju: Not participating. He's outside to stay away from his idiot friends. He's not aiming to get covered in foam darts and that's too much chaos for him
Matau: He's hiding where you'd never think to look, like in a chair, and has as many Nerfs as possible, just in case. He's aiming for ankles and hiding in boxes too. Beyond that, he has no real strategy; they didn't allow Nerf swords, unfortunately
Onewa: Playing dirty, as much as he can, but he needs to be careful not to overuse the same trick, or it won't work anymore. He's grabbing and using what he can and hoping for the best; He's playing against Vakama
Whenua: In the day, he's harmless, but when it's dark, he's aiming to take out whoever he can. He's making sure to play fair, but history has the best strategies for games such as these, and those are strategies he needs
Vakama: Everyone participating is prey; he is their hunter. No one is safe from him. They think he's hiding somewhere, but he's VERY far away and he basically snipes them. He's even taken "tragedy" shots at Matau; holding Matau from behind, murmuring in his ear he hopes Matau will forgive him, and then Matau gets a foam Nerf dart to the back
Nerf war!!
@your-fav-russian-assassin @jamesbbuchnanb @oh-to-be-a-murderer @the-winter-smolder-official you guys are on my team
Billy, having a nerf gun war with the kids, when he's backed into a corner by Max and El, both holding their guns up at him with sinister smirks.
"Any last words, blondie?"
With his hands held up in surrender, Billy sighs, "tell Steve I love him. And he better not remarry!"
Before the words are even fully out, the two girls are pelting him with nerf bullets, cackling at his dramatic display of falling over the couch, a hand clutching his chest.
Adventure Force Enforcer work in progress:
Current stats: ~165 fps, 350 rounds per minute, 2 x 80 dart belts.
I always wanted to mod one of these but I've had several failed attempts. The stock gear box is jus too flimsy and breaks easily when upping the speed and voltage; so I designed a 3d printed mount to hold a much stronger motor and gearbox. The one I chose is probably overkill in terms of torque but it's not like I could just pop in an N90 or one of those smaller hobby gearboxes that Out Of Darts sells, it still needs to be able to pull a belt. Unfortunately the gearbox I got is a little slow on the fire rate, the tag said 400 rpm but it's only getting about 350. I did find a gear box of the same dimensions and style that advertises 470 rpm so I've got that on the way and it should be able to just screw into the same mount. The daybreak wheels in the internal pictures ended up being a bit too tough on the darts than I would prefer as the belt drive doesn't quite align the darts perfectly canter like a magazine would, so many darts would feed closer to the side and get pretty chewed up. So I replaced the wheels with Containment Crew Cyclone wheels, and due to there low concavity it doesn't matter as much if a dart is fed in slightly to the side. I also made a clip that can screw into and clamp down on a cereal box to act as a box magazine for the 80 round belt though the boxes are large enough it could probably hold 100. I took it to the TANG war last Sunday and it managed to do some work during one of the carpe games but during the second round I had loaded it with brand new just opened the box darts and the belt was a bit too tight on the fresh darts and caused several feeding issues.
A/N: omg the idea of Bonten men having a nerf gun war just to see who gets a week’s worth of time-off is literally living in my head ✨rent free✨ rn.
Like, it all starts with Ran ranting to his brother about how overworked he was as they're in the meeting room where everyone else sat waiting for Mikey to show up. The first person to eavesdrop in their conversation is Takeomi, who ends up giving the older Haitani a whole lecture on how he wouldn’t need time-off since he was too much of lousy executive to even bother doing paperwork.
Dimension 20 AU where everything is the same but this guy is the Murph
