I just watched Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken and well, is an ok movie, well to me ajdjakdk

But what has gotten my attention recently is the number of people that are saying that this should have been a love story between the protagonist and the mermaid bad guy Chelsea/Nerisa.

Now, I won't lie, I also thought of that before watching the movie and some trailers... but after finally watching one trailer and now the whole movie I'm like...? Why did I thought that???¨

Reminder heheh I'm not a proshipper but a crack shipper so Holly Primes help me because I'm gonna RAMBLE WITH HATE TO MYSELF!

Don't hate me or hate others, everyone is free to like what they want to like. I just want to take some steam out and draw a line.

Also, I wanted to see the movie for a mermaid villain not for the shipping.

For those who haven´t watched the film it is revealed that Chelsea wants to free her mother Nerisa, the queen of mermaids but but but oh twits!

CHELSEA IS NERISA! She used some kind of magic thing that keep her young and she is actually a full adult in the body of a teenager or that's at least what I understood...

And if anyone took attention in the movie, Chelsea/Nerisa took full advantage and manipulated Ruby to take her revenge... do I make myself clear here??

Nerisa is Chelsea Chelsea is Nerisa! And people ship her with Ruby who is a minor...

Nerisa manipulated, bullied, and wanted to kill Ruby's mom and grandmother with no remorse!

And FINE ignore canon or make all the AU's you guys want.

I'll stay in my corner maybe doing a rewrite or also cooking an AU myself.
