I'm really bad at remembering story-step names :') but the trial one from human PS for Nyra?
Ty for the ask!! Baby Nyra is a kinda popular choice here and good!! We don't talk about that enough!!
So that instance goes pretty much as it does in game, and it makes sense it is so given her education (especially her being the main prosecutor) and her temperament at the time. Her second was Thackeray, but that was expected too because it's a known fact Nyra is Logan's protégé (protégée?)
But what I want to call attention to are the differences. Firstly, her ministerial grandfather being there in the crowds, the representative of Rurikton Eldon Ainsaph (elected for being from actual Ebonhawke rather than Krytan-Ascalonian.) Secondly, the fact that she is somewhat of a known figure in DR even before Shaemoor, if only for the fact she is third in line for the title of Lord/Lady Ainsaph at the time. Thirdly, Hero of Shaemoor, but that's in-game so I will not elaborate much.
And the implications of all this! A granddaughter of a minister-warhero from Ebonhawke in a culture obsessed with glorious family members (which I will write about. at some point. probably. scream at me sometime to write about it.) who's prosecuting a minister and is also a hero, a newly minted one, but a hero nonetheless. She has the guise of doing it to protect Kryta from treason, but she isn't stupid and she sees what it looks like and runs with it.
Because I think it's the continuation of an intentional making sure everyone knows who Alysannyra Ainsaph is. She was known as Lady Ainsaph before, only named when she needed to be set apart from her female relatives (her aunt, sister and mother are all Lady Ainsaph in formal address) and she felt invisible. She acted out. She defeated a minister in a trial by combat.
I will stop now before I get too deep into it buut ty for the ask!!!
