deep breath in. mr oizo is also a film director who makes movies under his real name which is quentin dupieux and one of the movies he made is called rubber. rubber is about a tire named robert who comes to life and can explode things with his mind. there are spectators watching robert go about his business because it was being advertised as a movie or whatever don’t ask me this movie is weird and while they watch robert literally murder people with his mind powers eventually they get poisoned by poison food fed to them by another character and then die and that’s when the “movie” was supposed to end. however one guy didn’t eat it and so the actors or whatever were forced to go on despite the script saying otherwise. the tire. falls in love with a woman. at the end robert eventually like. dies or whatever but is reincarnated as a tricycle and the movie ends with robert wheeling down a california highway with a bunch of other tires that came to life
also gaspard augé of justice fame helped out with the soundtrack and made a cameo
