😱🧐🙏🏼The Studio got broken into and robbed last night but thanks to our @nest surveillance system, Merkey @merkey1 waking up on the alert, and great police work from the Spotsylvania sheriffs dept @spotsysheriff, who showed up quickly, efficiently formed a perimeter around the studio with officers and K-9, and ultimately intercepted the perp. Their professionalism and badassary saved the day: they served and protected my baby, my business, and I am so thankful! A special shoutout to deputy Rocco Wahl who spotted and took down the suspect nearby as he fled on his bike, with a bunch of our valuables like our laptop, on his person. We recovered everything but the cash box, which they are still searching for. The robber had an entire toolkit of break-in stuff, and lots of priors, so he’ll be gone for a long time now. We are blessed that no one was hurt and that the damage is recoverable.
