to everyone whos now shitting their guts out over this and that show being taken off the catalog by their respective streaming service and saying theyre going back to piracy:

remember when we were all merrily pirating and illegally streaming every show we wanted? and then remember how you one day decided to stop doing that and pay some corporation instead? well youre reaping what you sowed.

while u were giving ur money to 5 different streaming services simultaneously, half the illegal sites died from collapsing demand and the ads are worse and worse. piracy overall has become less and less normalized. one day we will wake up in a world where the majority opinion will indeed be "piracy is theft(pejorative)", and i say "we" cuz im also gonna have to deal with this.

and why? well mostly because capital artificially creates demand and has 100%ed marketing and pr and will usually easily get into most anyones neurotypical head BUUUUUUT also in a small part because of YOU. you goddamn normie had the choice, and you chose wrong. now look what happened to your stories. well isnt that a shame?
