"There's nothing straight about Finarfin why would you call him straight boy." ((nETHEL-))
"No, that's true. I would say his hair, but even that isn't straight...I didn't think this through."

Wargteeth || Drabble
The knife had been intended for him. Kaziel knew it. He didn’t need to see in the door of the elleth’s workshop, unhinged by the force of her desperate attempt to get out. He didn’t even need to replay the scene in his mind- even though that didn’t stop his brain from actually doing so: She had jumped in front of him, anything to avoid him from getting hit by the blade of- No. He wasn’t even going to think his name. The bastard who had done this to her didn’t deserve to have a name anymore. Kaziels foot tapped to the tune of his nerves that no one but he himself could hear, his worries getting the best of him as he sat outside of the healing halls on a nearby bench. He had rushed Nethel in there, leaving Methenor to deal with Nethel’s previous lover- He shivered. If anything, Methenor was a terrifying opponent. Yes, Kaziel was glad that he took over the fight in some way, but that didn’t make her father any less scary. Methenor was not someone you wanted on your bad side, and hurting one of his children was definitely the way to get him on your bad side. Kaziel was woken from his thoughts when one of the healer elves softly said his name as they sat down beside him, giving him a kind smile- he could only hope that meant things were going well. Or at least, relatively so. “How is she doing?” “She responded well to the healing treatment, she should be fine. She needs to take it easy, though. It was quite a nasty wound to a pretty delicate area, so she definitely needs to take her rest. But you may go see her, if you wish.” He nodded and left the healer to their own thoughts, quietly entering the room and closing the door behind him as he looked upon the bed where she lay, still asleep. He sighed in soft relief as he saw her breathing, pulling up a chair and sitting down besides the bed. He didn’t know how long he had been sitting there when he saw her open her eyes, smiling at her as she did. “Hey Neth. How are you feeling?” “… Like I got hit by the teeth of a Warg. Or at least, that’s what I imagine Warg-teeth to feel like. …Did he hurt you?” “… Not physically, no.” he replied, gently brushing away a strand of her dark hair from her face.
“Anyway, don’t worry about it. I’ll take care of you. Just get better soon, okay?”
AN: short but sweet. I just had to write this. I can’t explain why I see Kaziel as someone who has restless legs that are always bouncing or tapping the ground but I just kinda do :| @lacrimosa-magnolia
But according to him I'm beautiful, incredible He can't get me out of his head According to him I'm funny, irresistible, Everything he ever w a n t e d
Everything is opposite, I don't feel like stopping it, So baby tell me what I’ve got to l o s e?
He's into me for everything I'm not, According to YOU.
In case my other post is in the tl:dr category here’s the condensed version of why Kaziel is a healthy match for Nethel: Nethel: Do I scare you? Eredhon: YES, YOU DO. VERY MUCH SO Lagoron: Kinda. Kaziel: Not really, no. lacrimosa-magnolia
on the topic of Miston’s family and dating
It makes total sense to me that Nethel’s type is ‘warrior.’ Here, let me explain what I mean: Warriors (in my headcanon, at least) in Imladris specifically are mostly trained to defuse dangerous situations. They know how to fight, yes, but it is a last minute resort. However, they train vigorously to keep their body in good shape, because as a warrior your body needs to be as much of a weapon as your longswords and whatmore. In comes Nethel, who gets weak in the knees for guys with muscles anyway, but who is also practically a danger to herself and others considering her anger issues and that she works with glass and pottery and fire and so on. She needs someone to defuse the dangerous situations she gets herself in, and she needs someone who can stop her from hurting someone else without physically harming her. A warrior in that case makes the most sense. So why does she fancy lacrimosa-magnolia’s Kaziel, out of all warriors? To really understand that I’m going to compare him to the other “add-ons” in the family only counting those who have relationships with Nethel’s siblings, so that would be Eredhon (Malgelir’s husband) and Lagoron (Amathel’s fiancee). (I ship Miston with a variety of people so I’ll leave him out of this for once) footnote: just because most of the sisters date guys doesn’t mean this family is full of heterosexuals. Malgelir is demisexual, Rhoscthel pan, Amathel is straight, Innith is aro ace, Nethel is the only one I’m not quite sure on (maybe bi? or pan? or if neither of those then she might be demi or grey-ace.), and Miston is a homoromantic ace. Yes, I definitely do feel like I could use a gay woman among this family in general :| I’m working on it. Anyhow, while Eredhon, Lagoron and Kaziel can pretty much provide the girls with a sense of peace because their homelife is quite chaotic considering you have a total of 8 (well, 7, since Miston left) people constantly on each other’s lips since most live in the same house (and Malgelir lives close by her parents), they’re not interchangable. Eredhon can deal with neither Amathel nor Nethel, because his romantic personality isn’t compatible with Amathel’s clean cut logic approach to life nor Nethel’s constant arguing that comes from her own unhappiness. Lagoron’s “low-maintenace” type of personality would make Malgelir feel really uncomfortable since she needs more emotional feedback from her spouse than he can offer, and with how laid-back he is Nethel would be able to walk all over him and I feel like putting them together would lead to a really toxic relationship with him mainly as the victim because he doesn’t have what it takes to calm her irratic self down, unlike calming Amathel down who can listen to his words with logic reasoning. And Kaziel? Kaziel is too young for Malgelir to see him as anything but a little brother, and Amathel sees him as a purely work-related kind of friend. Neither of Nethel’s older sisters would treat him as an equal, but that leaves Nethel’s anger issues to deal with. In dutch there is a saying that translated literally means something like “she’s not a cat you can handle without gloves.” or more liberally translated: “she should come with a warning sign: handle with care”, and it pretty much applies to Nethel. Miston is bad when it comes to arguing with those he loves, but Nethel is worse. So how can Kaziel deal with that? Simple: the same way he deals with her brother. Kaziel has this uncanny ability to reach through to Miston and stop his mind from spiraling out of control by Kaziel’s sheer personality and ludacris ideas, and you know what? It works the same for Nethel. With just his personality he can make both of these elves stop dead in their track and “buffer” for a moment in a matter of “wait, what?” and that leads back to him as a warrior defusing a dangerous situation. Yes, Nethel is the kind of person you should handle with care for your own safety. And I think Kaziel has the right equipment (ie: heavy leather gloves) to do so.
Maglor: Okay so your sister who kills spiders with a firepoke if she has to has her own semi-forge where she works with molted glass and heated earth and she coils up in said semi-forge for days on end as you could say she’s basically obsessed with fire? Miston: Yeah so? Maglor: She’s either a reincarnated Feanorion or a long lost relative of mine and I don’t know which of those options leaves me more concerned. wandering-maglor, strong-voiced, lostinthoughtsandfiction
Miston: Nethel! I found a family more dysfunctional than ours!
Nethel: Who granted you permission into my working place?
Miston: The Fëanorians are more dysfunctional.
Nethel: fascinating now get the fuck out of my room.
