Yet another Nedmano doodle (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Leaving some headcanons in this forgotten tag for poor wandering Nedmano souls like me. (And because I got a fever with 35°C outside and got nothing else to do.)
- Netherlands sometimes blurts out the most random compliments (sometimes romantic, sometimes crass as Hell: it’s a Russian roulette) and Romano is never ready for them. Which leads to a lot of awkward embarrassment on his part. - On the other hand, if Romano explicitly asks for compliments, Netherlands answers with a straight face in the most idiotic ways. Something like “Your nostrils are perfectly symmetrical.” It never fails to piss Romano off. - Netherlands pays for everything because Romano is always broke. But since Netherlands is stingy af usually all their dates are at home (Romano complains but doesn’t really mind, he likes cuddles on the couch). - Netherlands has two bunnies, a male and a female, he always kept apart to not make them breed. A night of Romano petsitting, and now he has a bunny army. The excuse was “ONE CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH BUNNIES”. - They are the couple that at parties stands in the corner and judges others. - Their FUCK YOUs are perfectly synchronized. - Romano is a jealous bastard because of his abandonment complex. That means he is always glaring at people talking with Netherlands and always going “If you looked at her boobs even once I am feeding you your hair gel”. Netherlands knows about his issues so he never gets angry - he is a very patient man. - Netherlands is very protective. He is the half of the couple that grasps Romano’s hood to keep him from doing something stupid.
Funny this happened irl @aph-sur-italia
Hi-yum everyone! So I decided to write a Nethmano fanfic that we can add to our sadly small collection. On the other hand, I'm happy to see that the tag isn't dead and has updates once in a while.
I know that the fanfic is a crossover with the game Animal Crossing, but I just had an idea and so much inspiration, that this story was born.
Let's keep on loving this pairing and support everyone's input to keep this ship sailing!
''How cute! You made friends with Ned, Romano! You even shared food with him!''
''It's not like that! I only did that because his stupid stomach made irritating noises!''
Nethmano stuff.... Aww yeah!
Cuties sharing a scarf <3

Lovino sat on the low wall, kicking his heels against the blond brick. The weather was nice today, and light breeze pulled at his dark hair, blowing it back from his forehead. Surrounded by thte brightly colored buildings in this area, he felt content and almost cheerful.
“Are you just going to sit there all day?” asked a voice to his left, accompanied by footsteps. He didn’t look up as the Dutch man took a seat on the wall as well, though his heart pounded a bit more quickly.
“Maybe I will,” he replied, trying to sound nonchalant. Something about Lars always put him sort of on-edge, and he wasn’t sure he liked the feeling.
The blond, however, didn’t seem to notice his discomfort. He tapped a cigarette out of a pack in his shirt pocket, and Lovino watched as he held it between his lips and lit it. A sudden wave of jealousy surprised him, though not as much as the fact that it was directed at the cigarette.
He shook his head, trying to clear the strange thoughts, but it only drew Lars attention. “What?” the taller man asked, “Don’t give me that shit about lung cancer, because we both know it’s a moot point.”
Lovino rolled his eyes and shot the other man a pointed look. “I don’t care if you turn your lungs as black as England’s scones,” he snapped, turning away.
In doing so, he missed the other man’s knowing smirk.
