The moments in life in which you feel comfortable, and dare I say a little proud of oneself, are usually few and far between. Nevertheless, this is one of those moments. Day #14: Grinding on Workshop 17 Prototyping Space
It's Independence Day in the United States and a personal grind day here in Cape Town.
Since its been a few days, I decided to post a video from my HQ on the campus of the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.
So here it is, my HQ for the time being. :)

Its been 10 days since my arrival to Cape Town. For some reason, it feels like I've lived here for quite awhile. I've now fallen into a routine in which I come back to my apartment from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. I workout in the basement of my apartment complex and then return to my apartment and watch my South African soap operas (I'm currently following Muhvango, Generations, and Isidingo). Side Note: Pearl from RGB (Real GaBooza) and Isidingo on SABC is fast becoming one of my style icons. I adore her natural hairstyles and wardrobe. However, this weekend I was blessed with the opportunity to travel with Cathy Arendse to explore Gordan's Bay and Strand along the Western Cape. I quickly learned about the transformation that education has had on the lives of not just Mrs. Arendse, but her husband and friends as well. Upon my return from the Western Cape, it came to our attention that President Obama was going to speak at the University of Cape Town Upper Campus. We immediately booked it over to the University in order to take a picture of the location where Obama would be speaking. To our surprise, we found an invitation waiting for Mrs. Arendse for the President's Remarks. I also found out that tickets for international students visiting the university were available earlier, but my department had failed to send the email out to us in time for us to obtain our tickets. So I returned to my apartment and wished Mrs. Arendse the best of luck as she sped back to the University of Cape Town in order to attend. Based on her personal reviews, the speech was amazing. I, unfortunately, was relegated to watching the re-run of President Obama's speech in my apartment via CNN International. The video above are my reflections while listening to the President's remarks on the need to build a stronger relationship and partnership with Africa.
