- a tribute to the friends I have made while I've been here this year

this week is the first anniversary of my little animal crossing blog, and I never knew how much it would change my life when I started. because of this community, I've also started pursuing in-game design, then art, then d&d, and I feel like such a different person now than I was a year ago.

really, this is no more than a thank you to all the people who have touched my life in the last year because we were here together (I couldn't even fit everyone in the comic because there are 3,500 of you who decided I was worth following). I have experienced so much love and joy in this community during a year that would have really crushed me otherwise. I never could have anticipated that I would be going into lifelong friendships just by playing a game together, but I am so glad I could make it.

thank you to @nettleisland​ for hosting a super fun ren faire for us yesterday!!

the first event was jousting! 🐴⚔️

then we got our fortunes read! 🔮✨

then had a little game of find the thief, which i won by just a few seconds 😏

and we had a classic axe toss! which i also won!! 🪓

and finally, we finished it off with a fashion show:

such a fun and well thought out event!! and thanks to @isleof-asphodel​ and @x0-r​ for being my ren faire buddies! can’t wait to do this again 💛
