- a tribute to the friends I have made while I've been here this year

this week is the first anniversary of my little animal crossing blog, and I never knew how much it would change my life when I started. because of this community, I've also started pursuing in-game design, then art, then d&d, and I feel like such a different person now than I was a year ago.

really, this is no more than a thank you to all the people who have touched my life in the last year because we were here together (I couldn't even fit everyone in the comic because there are 3,500 of you who decided I was worth following). I have experienced so much love and joy in this community during a year that would have really crushed me otherwise. I never could have anticipated that I would be going into lifelong friendships just by playing a game together, but I am so glad I could make it.

I visited @setlettie 's lovely island, Bytheway, today!! Even without the star trees (hey Nintendo, can you make those legitimate?) it's a gorgeous island!

Full of amazing pops of colour, hidden gnomes, tea parties and winding, hopping trails, it's an absolute joy to explore.
