- a tribute to the friends I have made while I've been here this year

this week is the first anniversary of my little animal crossing blog, and I never knew how much it would change my life when I started. because of this community, I've also started pursuing in-game design, then art, then d&d, and I feel like such a different person now than I was a year ago.

really, this is no more than a thank you to all the people who have touched my life in the last year because we were here together (I couldn't even fit everyone in the comic because there are 3,500 of you who decided I was worth following). I have experienced so much love and joy in this community during a year that would have really crushed me otherwise. I never could have anticipated that I would be going into lifelong friendships just by playing a game together, but I am so glad I could make it.

hi Tumblr, long time no see. I've been frantically cleaning up my island and making space for November 5th. but, considering this requires moving buildings, terraforming, ridding of certain inclines and such... I am in desperate need of bells. I want to earn them, so I've been replanting fruit trees, selling majority of items in storage, and fishing. I am horrible with turnip sales. I can't find treasure islands,,, so if anyone has any ideas on how to get filthy rich so I don't get burnout, that would be amazing!

- I’ve been running this blog since i was a kiddo in high school...i’m like 22 now - I often get compared to a certain bug-loathing owl because of the way i overreact there’s a buzzing noise near my head LOL - This summer I drove through 6 states in the span of 2 days! It was also my first time leaving California!
