Nettletail is a brown tabby with a white underbelly and socks. He received his name after he rolled from the nest into a small patch of prickly nettle plant while his mother was still giving birth to his litter other mates. After losing his two siblings and mother to a sickness that had hit the camp, Nettletail was taken in as an apprentice by the previous medicine cat. Soon after this he was attacked by a twoleg’s dog that ravaged his face, leaving him blind and nearly deaf on his left side. Nettletail is very skittish and almost always in a nervous state. He stutters slightly when he speaks and many of the other cats view him as an incompetent medicine cat.
