     having called the other to pick him up had been a long shot, last time they spoke it had ended things between them abruptly  ;  minjun not being the same after experiencing the coldness of what war would bring. however, the only safe place had been with the other and although his emotions were no longer easily displayed, seeing them beside him again, after half a year, was beyond difficult.  " thank you for taking time to come pick me up. "  gratitude only slightly hinted in the tone of voice, but flashbacks of terror was the only thing that was really seen through his eyes now  —-  on edge and sleeping absolutely terrible, things minjun couldn't put them through.
