Yes, a common problem I've noticed is that creators of custom figures often have iffy photos of their creations.  It is tricky to photograph things up close, but it's always seemed weird to me that they put hours of work into these beautiful figures but the pictures to show them off aren't great.  Kind of frustrating for those who enjoy the artistry of custom figures!

Thank you!  So much about their history has been bittersweet; they clearly loved each other and were happy, and then he died not long after and left her adrift.  Then they were reunited and happy again, but were soon parted to her great distress.  And both seemed more stable when they were together, so a lot of their more reckless and anti-social behaviour might not have happened had they been together or at least not parted traumatically like that.

You know, I'm not sure.  I don't see why they wouldn't be, since apparently past continuity is still intact except when we're explictly told it isn't, or it's obviously been contradicted since.  So while I'm sure the cringeworthy racist aspects of the original story have been politely forgotten, the robots themselves probably still happened.
