Headcannon: Neutins slingshot is an innocuous double for a railgun. A lot of calculus goes into designing a railgun.
the slingshot itself doesn't even have an elastic band or anything, it's just an empty handle, strikingly similar to sincos's tuning fork, but smaller
since she has difficulty focusing her psionics, she uses the handle as a sort of mental crutch to give her a tangible sense of where to concentrate, and where she's aiming
beyond that, she just has to focus enough to accelerate the projectile. she can effectively "set" an object's instantaneous velocity, and its derivatives, so with enough practice it could very well double as a railgun!
