          ❝ oh, come on, you look nothing like the commander. you’re always smiling. ❞ it wasn’t anything NEW when one of cullen’s soldiers decided to shirk their duties to spend some time with her. and rosalie didn’t really do anything to stop it. not because she was particularly interested, but because she wanted to get to her brother. she just KNEW he’d be upset about that. maybe even get a little overprotective. ultimately, it was all about getting him to pay her some attention.  ❝ cullen smiles. ❞ she said.  ❝ you should see him with nimia. ❞ oh, yes. people talking about his love life --- he would LOVE THAT. 

          ❝ in that case, i envy him. i wish you’d only smile for me. ❞ she giggled as he leaned in--- not too much. just enough to make his intentions clear. she was flattered, but that was about it. rosalie had her eyes on someone else for a while already.

@nevarranprince​ gets a thing;

             ❝ cullen, for the love of the MAKER--- ❞ he interrupted her again to tell her how busy he was. oh, the duties of the commander of the inquisition’s forces. all she wanted was to have tea with him, for a couple of hours. it didn’t even have to be immediately. she just wanted to spend some time with him where he wasn’t running around skyhold, training his soldiers or doing some boring paperwork. he insisted on telling her, however, that he didn’t have that much free time. two hours. she refused to believe it.  ❝ can you stop walking, please? ❞

            he was busy, he told her again. he had to go somewhere or meet someone and didn’t have time to stop and c h a t. so if there was to be any chatting, it had to be done in walking.  ❝ no, this is ridiculous. ❞ she rushed to stop in front of him and make him stop. 

            finally, he looked at her in the eye, and when she was about to get a few words out, someone interrupted her. rosalie rolled her eyes and watched as she lost cullen’s attention COMPLETELY once more. she grew more and more annoyed by the second and stared at her brother as some scout introduced him to someone. she couldn’t bother to actually listen to who he was, but cullen was giving him a lot of full sentences while standing still so he was probably important.
