when vanilla paste dropped, i was worried that tallah might become a one-and-done kind of band, where the first record kicked ass and the rest just couldn’t stack up.

that fear has now been extinguished.

btw i officially don’t really care about attack attack putting out new music anymore. i was already skeptical for a couple reasons including 1: not to be mean but who cares about the drummer and guitarist or whoever of attack attack. definitely seems like they just had nothin else going on so they were like fuck it let’s make some cash off of the one thing we had going for us in our careers. and 2: it’s 2021. i love crabcore, but it has to be done carefully nowadays because it’s no longer in its heyday.

basically what i’m getting from the singles they’ve put out this year is some guy doing a mediocre caleb shomo impression over tracks that are trying to reconcile aa’s old sound (which has grown stale) with the newer trends of flavorless risecore mush. not great.
