Wahlburgers was horrid
Met a friend Friday for lunch at the new Wahlburgers in the Bass Pro Pyramid in Memphis. It's been open for 2 weeks & we wanted to have a look since it's the first one in Memphis. It's a crazy place with a bowling alley, fish tank & under the sea motif including huge fake fish hanging from the ceiling. We didn't have a long wait to be seated & our waiter popped right up & took our drink & appetizer orders. Then we waited & waited, finally he came back with all of it. Usually you get your drink right away but not here. He disappeared again. We were finished with the appetizers & needed ice tea refills. It was one thing after another with this guy. The burgers finally arrived & darn if it wasn't just so-so, expensive so-so. Not a good way to start off in the BBQ capitol of the U.S. We know good food, it's all around us. We finally got to-go boxes and our checks, it had been over 2 hours! He left the receipts to be signed and disappeared again. We signed and left, totally fed up. Not even a manager walking around & get this, the other employees will not make eye contact so we were ignored by everyone. This place can crash & burn. I will not go back, ever.
