I hear you. What ship?

[ So hey. Sorry, I had to go and cool off because reasons, had a bite to eat and watched an episode of AoS (Girl in the Flower Dress), and now I'm better. The ship in question though is -- and I know I'm going to get so much hate for this -- but Captain Swan from Once Upon a Time. For whatever reason I've never been able to get behind it and I don't think it should've happened in the first place for a million reasons that I won't even begin to list. The ship itself makes me sick and whenever I see gifsets of them kissing I honestly feel nauseous, so...yeah. ]

"Skye." Stopping in the middle of the hall, Jemma felt her breath catch in her throat. She had laid eyes on the hacker only once since she had gone undercover. And behind a sniper rifle, it wasn't the smiling one she was used to. "Hello." Giving an awkward smile, she didn't know how Skye would react to her return. They hadn't spoken, hadn't seen each other. Fitz was trying but Skye? She couldn't calculate all the variables at play here. "How have you been?"

Requiem

Ward leaned against the door frame, one bag slung over his shoulder and head hanging down against his chest. It felt like his heart was getting pulled down through the ground and compressed until it was barely bigger than a finger nail. His soul was breaking knowing that he leave, but it was something that had to be done, no other choice applicable to him. With his body being taken over by the secret cancer, and money running low, he had to go. Footsteps made him look up, pale face catching sight of the person in front of him.

"I have to leave," he whispered, forcing himself to keep eye contact with them. "I need to find more money for you, and I need- I need to sort out some things." Staying in the doorway, he moved the bag higher up on his shoulder. "Just know that I will love you until the end of time." His eyes went back to the floor, getting ready mentally to leave for good.
