The Doctor, with a grin on her face, had begun popping the buttons on her vest. She was always like this around this time of the morning. Wanting it badly. "C-Can you help me...? With, er, something?" She asked, the grin still plain on her face.

Considering how much he claimed to dislike Earth, the Master certainly spent a lot of time there. Far too much time for his liking. And it wasn't even his fault--how could one insignificant little planet, in a universe full of insignificant little planets, attract so much trouble? It was a mystery to him, and one that frustrated him to no end.

The current source of trouble was, at least, not the fault of naive humans. There was an active temporal rift in the city--not in the middle of it, exactly, but more to the side--giving off interesting readings. It was enough to catch his attention, anyway, and with reluctance, he put in the coordinates and waited for his TARDIS to land. It did so quietly and without fuss, taking the form of an extra tree that no one would notice, and the Master stepped out.

The rift wasn't far, and with the help of his screwdriver (multi-functional lasers were useful for many things) he located it quickly. What exactly he was expecting to find, he didn't know--something from another world, maybe, or another time, or both. Something out of place.

It turned out that it was all three, and more.

The sight of the blue police box stopped him in his tracks, wariness and curiosity and shock and a multitude of other things running through his mind. He was certain it was sometime in the 21st century, so a police box had no business being there--even less so because the owner of the last one he'd seen was very, very dead.

Cautiously, he stepped forward, walking around to inspect it from all sides. From the outside, it looked like an average police box, but he could feel it was much more than that. Stopping at the door, he paused, staring at it with an unreadable expression. Was this some sort of trick? Would he get a past version of the Doctor? Or had he come back somehow?

Only one way to find out. He raised his hand and, with a brief moment's hesitation, knocked, and put his ear to the door, listening.

Concerning threads

Okay so I know I've been gone for like, ever.

And I know I had threads going.

And I'm really sorry for essentially abandoning them.

But I wanna know who wants to continue and who wants to just start a new RP and who wants to do both/neither.

1. Favorite animal? why?

Horses. It's kind of always just been a thing. I used to have a collection of like... almost a hundred Breyer horses and I thought I was going to go be a horse trainer or something. I moved on, but I never really lost my love of them. They're beautiful animals. I'm also immensely fond of cats. My cats are all incredibly lovey. They're my babies. 

2. Who changed your life the most?

Well hmm... I did. Not to say that no one has impacted my life. Quite the contrary, but the thing is, people influence you so much, but you're the one who decides what to do with it. Many people have influenced me along the way, but ultimately my life is my responsibility. I don't get to fob that off on anyone else, good or bad. 

3. Favorite teacher? why?

This is sort of a tough question as I graduated ages ago. I don't remember most of my primary school teachers and I worked through most of my bachelors degree online, so I didn't get to know most of my professors. I adored my mentor though (my school's version of an academic advisor but more... hands on). He got me through some tough times and he was just... just absolutely phenomenal. He was the one person in my life who didn't act like I was a nutter for trying to finish my degree in a year and a half instead of four and I couldn't have done it without him. 

4. First Fandom? (non harry potter)

I was obsessed with a lot of things growing up, but I didn't discover fandom until I was 16 and moved out. I got into anime and found fanfiction for Inuyasha (the show I was into at the time.) I ended up writing a little, but I didn't really participate fully in fandom until I got into Fullmetal Alchemist

5. Tell about on scar on your body?

Most of my scar stories are sad stories. I had a bit of a rough childhood. Aside from that, the only one I can think of is I have a scar on my arm from a puncture wound. I was attacked by a great pyrenese/chow mix. He was sort of giant and mean. 

6. Weird fact about your body?

Ehh... I can cross my toes on one foot?

7. Ideal job?

I love my actual job, but I really want to be a novelist. For the moment, I content myself with writing a lot of Doctor/Master fanfiction XD

8. Best childhood memory?

My dad worked third shift and I home schooled through high school. I didn't get along with my mom back then, but my dad and I have always been close. We used to sneak and watch tv together in the mornings while Mom was at work until he had to go to bed. 

9. Childhood obsession?

I was periodically into a lot of things. Archeology, horses, fashion design, the Backstreet Boys, writing. Not necessarily in that order. 

10. Favorite junk food?

You know, I'm not much of a junk food person usually. I like chips and salsa, I suppose, and Dove chocolates. 

11. Any near death experiances?

Ehhh... a couple of car accidents and the dipshit who held me at gunpoint once. It's not nearly so exciting as it sounds.
