13 - taylor
“C'mon, he’scute!” Laura pouted as soon as she heard Taylor’s comment about a boy thatjust walked by, her voice a bit too melodramatic ‒ a sign that she was, indeed, faking it (although the boy was cute). Both girls were sitting under a tree, enjoying their unusual free time whilechatting and watching the people that passed by. The Hufflepuff has just givenTaylor some insight about the boys she liked in the past - not mentioning someof her thoughts about girls because Laura couldn’t quite understand them -, soright now they were mostly commenting on the boys that coould be Laura’s newcrush. Of course, it was more like a joke for them. “Ok, what about… that one? Blondes aren’t my favourite, but there’s no denying he ishandsome.” And he was, after all. Only that Laura wouldn’t look to thosethings; not anymore, at least. She laughed a bit while thinking of her firstcrush ever, that basically happened because the boy was the prettiest of allher male friends.
“Glad youagree! We would have to hospitalize you if you didn’t.” She winked, showingthat she wasn’t serious, before sighing and reclining her own body a bit, justto be more comfortable. “I think it will take some time until I likesomeone, you know? Especially now that the war just ended and with O.W.L’scoming soon. But what about you?” She actually was interested in what herfriend had to say, so she paid attention for the next few minutes and the girlskept talking. It was nice to be there with Taylor, she was funny, friendly, easy to talk to, much like Laura herself. Unlike what happened with somepeople, she didn’t think about the past when talking to Tay; not even about thedays when they were tortured together - because both refused to torture other students- or the many times Taylor refused to torture Laura. What mattered was havingthis new, great friend now… at least the war was “good” forsomething.

“Wink andkiss? Like this?” Laura’s expression soon changed, trying to follow whatwas less of an advice and more of something she was “teaching” -though probably not to be used in a real life situation. She tried faking aseductive pose, or at least what seemed like a seductive pose, lifting her headjust a bit and staring at Taylor. Finally, she winked just before moving herright hand, kissing some of her own fingers and finally blowing it. Shechuckled just after, finding it funny. “Yeah, I’m not sure if I got it…But hey, at least I tried, right?” Once again, another laughter, using afew seconds to recover herself. And maybe now they could end the conversationabout kisses and boys… “So tell me… Did you enjoy the music box I gave you?”
