Because he is.
Dearest Seamus,
Guess what time it is? It’s Christmas day! My scops owl has a lot of work today, so I hope you don’t mind if you feed my little one over while she delivers your present. I made you some yummy GINGERBREAD COOKIES.They’re an odd sort of muggle dessert that I wasn’t quite familiar with until Susan taught me how to bake them. They’re very scrumptious, and I hope you’ll like them!
I hope you’re having a lovely Christmas wherever you may be and I hope you get all the presents!
Happy Christmas!
Love, Tori
Dearest Tori,
MERRIEST OF CHRISTMASES, MY DEAR! I hope yours was as festive as these delicious looking cookies. Honestly Tori, is there anything you aren’t amazing at? I would have thought you’d been baking these since you were a wee little one. I broke off the head of one and gave it to your owl, though I’m not sure she appreciated it as much as the dead mouse I gave her after.
My Christmas was... odd. To put it mildly. I’ll tell you about when we’re back from holiday.
Miss you lots!
Seamus

Dean,
Things at home have been fucking mental. I gotta tell you, mate, that daily prophet piece got around. Pretty sure my mam’s already planning our wedding, but she’s the only one taking it well. Nan hasn’t really talked to me since I got back and Fergus-- Fucking Fergus! Last night that git asked if i took it up the arse so I told him he could take my fist up his. In retrospect, I don’t think that was my finest choice of words, but he’s being a real dick.
It feels like everything’s different. Like I’m not the same person. I guess it felt like that this summer, too, only then it was my family skirting around the fact my face was fucked up, not that I’m not us.
Sorry, I know this probably isn’t the Christmas card you wanted from me. Which reminds me-- MERRY CHRISTMAS! Better late than never, right? Be prepared, when we get back to Hogwarts you’re going to shit yourself over the stuff I’ve got for you. Now that you’re my best friend and my boyfriend, figured I’d go all out.
Don’t worry, none of it’s flammable.
How’s your family? I know they don’t read the prophet so did you tell them? No rush, if not. I know you’re not ashamed of me. Well, you probably are, but that’s because I’m a right arsehole, not because we’re now snog buddies.
This letter is a rollercoaster I’m gonna stop before I further embarrass myself.
All my love,
Seamus

Starshine--Dean & Seamus
deanxthomas:
Dean didn’t bother repeating. Seamus had heard it, he knew he did. Saying it again might just jeopardize the image Dean had built up in his head of the moment last night, as he replayed it over and over again. It was hard not to smile at the thought. He eased at Seamus’ touch. Goddamnit that that could even happen now. “I know you love me. But that’s not what I mean. I mean…the–” He sounded like an idiot, babbling like this. He was supposed to be stronger, tougher than this. He tried to speak, but the words got caught in his chest. Why couldn’t he find the words? “Er, you know what I mean.” Friends don’t look at each other that way. Friends don’t make friends smile stupidly just by being around. Friends don’t hurt this much.
“No, that’s not how this works, Shay.“ His voice was still soft, even if he wanted every word to be firm. "You don’t get to only love me if I love you back. You either do or you don’t.” He hesitated before looking back at his best friend. He matched his eyes, full of worry and confusion. But Dean wasn’t confused anymore. He tapped his foot on the wood floor.
“Because I told you last night that I loved you.” He let a small laugh escape his lips as they curled upwards into a smile. “Even if you don’t remember it, you git.”
Seamus searched for some indication that he hadn’t destroyed everything. The ache in his head grew, pain throbbing through his temples, but he wouldn’t let himself react. Because Dean was more important than some bloody hangover. He as watched his best friend trying to follow, to catch some sort of hint. You know what I mean. Seamus shook his head, for once completely silent. He didn’t. Mind racing to all the worst places they could. Maybe this was rejection in the cruelest fashion. Dean telling him just to tell him that he didn’t feel the same. That they couldn’t be friends anymore. Only the fact Dean hadn’t pulled away from his touch clued Seamus in to maybe that wasn’t the case. Though that wasn’t much to go on.
Dean was right, Seamus realized... a little too late. That addition was a cowards move, but he needed some safety net. Maybe last night he’d been able to get the words out, be able to tell Dean without a laundry list of why nots looming over him. But surely Dean understood the hesitance. It seemed self explanatory. It was more than just the fact ( for it was an indisputable fact ) that Seamus loved him-- it was the fact that Dean was the most important person in Seamus’ life. Had been since their first day at Hogwarts. And last year without Dean... Seamus had lost himself.
But then their eyes finally met and in them Seamus saw what he had so desperately clung to. Seamus’ head still hurt, his muscles still ached, but the moment Dean laughed, it was easy to forget everything else.
“Yeah?” The confusion smoothed away, the boy’s smile mimicking that of his friends. He didn’t care that he probably sounded like a bloody lovestruck fourth year-- or that Dean called him a git. To be frank, he definitely deserved it. But to hear that the feelings were reciprocated... after all that time... Beaming like an idiot, Seamus nudged Dean. “Well then, you love me git and all then.” There was a flutter in Seamus’ heart, heat rising to his cheeks, though he couldn’t give a damn. For a moment, he considered finishing the recap of last night. Afterall... just a little scoot and their lips would meet, but... The smile faltered slightly, eyes glancing away as he leaned his side against Dean’s.
“So... what now?” What are we?
Study Hall || Astoria & Seamus
littlegreengrxss:
“Pretty?” Astoria asked dubiously, giggling a bit at the prospect of it all. Well, it certainly was a nice shot. She didn’t think her heart would flutter at a moving picture of her and Draco kissing. And she’d been lying if she said she didn’t keep a clipping of it in her drawer to look at every time she starts to have nightmares. “I mean, it’s something to talk about in everyone’s seemingly large free time. I would try to keep the clippings from any… future people. Wouldn’t want my children to think mummy had a bit of a scandal back at Hogwarts. Honestly, what would they think of me?” She asked jokingly.
Not that she’d be ashamed of the picture or anything. Astoria simply didn’t want to set a bad example for any future kids she might have… if she’d have any… with her curse and all, it’s not likely. But she pushed the thoughts aside as she popped a piece of candy from her bag into her mouth, chewing on it slowly as she watched Seamus write on his parchment. She peeked a bit and found the words being written quite decent, to be perfectly honest. Maybe that’s what studying would be to Seamus – a good distraction. “Well… don’t you remember any of it?” Astoria asked curiously as she stared at her friend. “The kiss, I mean. With Dean?”
"Ah, so you admit you’ve kept clippings! I knew you would.” Seamus winked over at Astoria before adding another sentence to the paper that was... surprisingly coming along. He hoped. “Any future mini Astorias will probably think good old mummy had fun at school. There is no crime to that.” The truth was, he hadn’t even thought about people outside of Hogwarts when he thought about the article about him and Dean-- let alone any future implications. There was something in print that told a story he couldn’t. One he couldn’t exactly deny or corroborate. What if he and Dean didn’t last? He’d have this tangible proof of just how much he had screwed up. Lovely.
“Hey, save some for me, yeah?” Seamus pulled his thoughts away from the scare place they’d settled, trying instead to focus on the paper and the candy. It wasn’t the best incentive, but the promise of something sweet didn’t hurt his motivation to finish this damn paper. The moment, however, was broken by Astoria and for the first time since picking up his quill, Seamus’ hand froze. “Nothing.” His shoulders slumped forward and after a moment of staring at the half finished sentence, he put the quill down altogether and looked up at Astoria. “Dean, he told me some of what happened, but I was so out of it.” Any hint of happy-go-lucky Seamus was gone as he ran an ink stained hand through his mussed up hair. “It lines up with what Rita wrote. And how I feel. But... But I can’t help feel like I fucked up the best chance I’ll ever get.”
Overdue: SeamusxHarry
chcsenone:
It felt like there was a light, drumming happening somewhere behind Harry’s eyes. He had barely slept the past few nights, embarrassment over the other night and anxiety over the trials clotting his mind, demanding his body to stay awake. It was odd how this was what Harry considered normal. It had been how he spent the last eight years and some how, he found a slight comfort in it. Of course, he would much prefer to sleep but there was still a sense of normality that came with it that the rest of his life seemed to be missing. Harry had specifically taken up two study halls so that he could goof off with Ron but he was rather avoiding that today, opting for a quiet hour in his bed instead. He had barely shut his eyes when he heard a set of steps coming up the stairs. His eyes shot open, eyeing the door. He was sat awkwardly, his whole body flat against the mattress except his head that seemed to be propped up against the head board, shoving his chin into his chest. He did this so he wouldn’t fall asleep. He was afraid if he did he might not wake back up for his next classes and he couldn’t afford to be late potions again, never mind miss it. He was relieved when it was Seamus who came through the door and not Ron. He loved Ron, he really did but he couldn’t listen to another hour rant about how Hermione spent too much time in her books and not enough snogging him. “Oh, hey” Harry sighed the words, air leaving his chest awkwardly as he pushed himself up on the bed. He hadn’t sent nearly enough time with Seamus this year. He went to his party but they had barely spoken, Seamus too busy keeping an eye on everyone. Besides that Harry wasn’t even sure they had a full conversation. “Free period?” (@seamusfiinnigan)
Seamus rarely skipped class-- not because he particularly cared that he might miss some academically life altering nugget of learning, but because one time in second year he’d tried to skip Transfiguration. McGonagall made it quite clear that he should never do that again by sending Madam Pomfrey into the Common Room and giving him a nearly full physical in front of every Gryffindor there. Going to class was just a habit, and one he only complained about slightly. Today, however, was different. After spending the entire morning feeling the stares of his peers and hearing whispers he wasn’t sure were real or his imagination, Seamus figured an afternoon off was worth the risk. And besides, he deserved some peace and quiet.
Avoiding as many people as humanly possible, Seamus crept his way through the Common Room and up the stairs to the dormitory. Maybe he would take a nap, sleep until the fucking rumor mill stopped spinning. Or maybe he’d finally write that letter up to send to his dear old newspaper reading mother. Or maybe-- but any thought of a quiet afternoon off flew from his mind when he opened to door and found Harry there. Oh great.
“Hey.” Seamus met Harry’s greeting with a less than enthused one of his own, walking over to his bed and plopping down his pile of textbooks. It wasn’t that he disliked Harry. Of course not. He’d fought a war in his name last year, hadn’t he? Though truly Harry was just a symbol then, not so much the boy who he’d shared a dorm with for six (now going on seven) years. But now he was back, the war was over, and... well, Seamus didn’t know if he could really call Harry his friend. They weren’t not friends, but ever since fifth year things between them never felt as amicable. Could in part be due to the whole rise of Voldemort thing on Harry’s end, but for Seamus it was a wee more personal. Still. Can’t exactly be rude to the boy who lived.
“Uh, no.” Reluctantly facing towards Harry, Seamus plopped down on the mattress. “Skipping actually. I know, dangerous, but I’ve already got a plan for if McGonagall comes knocking.”
Study Hall || Astoria & Seamus
littlegreengrxss:
Astoria listened patiently as Seamus ranted about the whole Daily Prophet blast. Well, he wasn’t the first of many that’s done it. Astoria had been one of the first victims and she ranted it off so terribly, she was sure anyone who had listened to her at that time had their ears bleed out. “Yeah, it’s completely pathetic. It’s scary, too, that she knows more about the whole thing than the people involved in it. You just discover new things when Rita writes about you. But you shouldn’t worry. It dies down after awhile.”
It does die down after awhile, but everyone will be thinking about it for the whole year. Anyone who ever made the papers were now either in hiding or flashing the whole thing off to prove they’re better than Rita about it. “Yes, I have another bag right here in my purse. Finish your essay today, and it’s all yours.” Astoria told him sweetly, and she grinned widely when she saw Seamus start to write on her paper. Yes, finally. As he wrote on his paper and as she took a bit of nougat from her bag, she heard him bring up her own fiasco. “Oh, well… I can’t say it’s not true. It did happen. Just forgot Rita’s always watching and now my snogging face is everywhere.”
Seamus continued to write as Astoria spoke, even if he wasn’t quite sure if the words flowing from his quill were useful or utter bullshit-- knowing him, it was probably somewhere in between. He had definitely been on the down low ever since he found out about the paper. It wasn’t that he was ashamed, it was just... sometimes the muggle world and the wizarding word were more similar than any of them thought. But it felt good to be out of hiding, felt good to have a purpose to do so. Even if that purpose was this bloody paper.
“Yeah well, it’s a very pretty snogging face if that’s any consolation.” Seamus glanced up for a moment and winked, trying to reign in his own emotions and be the kind of company he knew people enjoyed. “Just think of it like I do, one day it’ll be quite the story, aye?” Even if the person Astoria had been caught kissing was far from Seamus’ favorite person, even Seamus had to admit it could be worse. Probably. Somehow. “Don’t know if I wish it was just a story or not, though.” He finished another sentence, pausing to dip his quill into ink. “If that makes any sense.”
Front Page Fiasco || Nat & Open
natalie-mcdonald:
Nat nodded solemnly and looked up at the boy. “Thanks, Shay.” If there was one thing the blonde knew, it was that she needed someone with her right now. It seemed like people were at the dance, but they had all forgotten about her by the end of the night. “How are you doing, Seamus? It’s been awhile since I’ve asked you that question.”
Squeezing her a little tighter to him, Seamus nodded down at her, smiling as best as he could with his looming hangover ( among other things ). As much drama as he’d had the previous night, whether he could remember it or not, Nat had had it worse. He didn’t pity her, no. What he felt was far from pity. If anything it was a blazing fire of conviction to help her get through it. “Well that’s a very good question, isn’t it?” Seamus laughed, though the sound came out nervous. Probably because he was. “Fer starters I’ve got the worst hangover of my life, so there’s that.” And? Seamus took a deep breath, looking away from Nat and instead on the blinding snow. “And... Dean and I may have, uh, snogged last night. And no, I’m not being vague. I just was so wasted, I literally can’t remember a thing.” Another sigh. “So that’s how I’m doing, sunshine.”
Starshine--Dean & Seamus
deanxthomas:
Dean shook his head as he watched Seamus devour the water as if they were the last drops he’d ever swallow. “Slow down there,” commented Dean absentmindedly, his feet tapping against the frame of the bed. Dean took the cup back and filled it once again for his best friend, just in case.
He didn’t want to admit it, but Seamus’ words cut Dean a little more than he wanted to admit. He didn’t remember a bloody thing. And Dean remembered everything. The placement of scars that traced Seamus’ cheek against his hand; how natural the words “I love you” sounded with an Irish drawl; the way he smiled when his best friend kissed him, his mind racing, how could anything possibly be better than this?
But Seamus was drunk. That’s the only way it really could have made any sense. Right? With Seamus’ touch, Dean released a throaty chuckle. “I mean, it’d be nice if you remembered kissing me last night,” he muttered, fixating his eyes desperately on the end of the bed. His words were sharp. He sounded stupid, childish even. “And telling me you loved me…” Seamus didn’t need to know that it was Dean who had said it first. Dean, who never forgot a birthday or an insult, and who would certainly never forget a kiss. Dean, who had put his best mate to bed countless other times, who never hurt quite like this before. Dean, who was stone-cold sober and meant every word so so much.
If Seamus wasn’t looking at Dean, he would have through the words leaving his best friend were a joke-- but there was no joy in what Dean said and after a moment of icy silence, it hit Seamus. Hard. The light-heartedness he’d been trying to build up plummeted, replaced but something he couldn’t name. Dread, maybe. “I--” He knew what Dean had said, every word punctuated with a bitterness that sliced through the boy. But still. He couldn’t believe he’d done it. “I did what?” Seamus had a knack for loudness, filling in the empty spaces of rooms with rancorous laughter or booming chatter. But the question the left his lips was so soft, Seamus himself wasn’t entirely sure he’d made a sound. Suddenly Dean felt too close, like the usual comfortable warmth was setting his skin ablaze. Inching away ever so slightly, Seamus wasn’t sure what to do.
I kissed Dean.
I told him I loved him.
I did. But did he...
He tried to find the courage the ask, but Dean couldn’t even meet his eyes. Seamus had messed up, either by doing what he did last night or by forgetting. Or both. Tentatively, he reached out, fingers still burning as they made contact with his best friend’s shoulder, but he had to do this. He’d been a coward for far too long.
“I do, you know.” His words were still quieter than normal, but there was a force behind them that they’d previously lacked. Taking a deep breath, Seamus lightly shook Dean’s shoulder, silently begging for the other boy to look at him. His hangover was still killing him, but hurting Dean... He’d have to be dead to stop him from making that right. “I do love you.” God, he felt like an idiot, blood rushing to his cheeks, turning his entire face a glowing red hue. There was a pause before he continued. “But, uh, only if you love me back.” Because if he didn’t, Seamus knew he’d ruined everything. And he couldn’t even bloody remember it!
Study Hall || Astoria & Seamus
littlegreengrxss:
“Really, now?” Astoria asked teasingly before giggling as she watched Seamus try to make out the sentence starter she wrote for him. It wasn’t very hard to follow. Anyone can pull rubbish after the first sentence, and she had complete faith in Seamus that he could just put a repetitive one after the first. Most professors barely notice them, as far as her experience went. When her friend had asked for a second sentence, she rolled her eyes playfully at him before tapping her quill on his parchment impatiently. “If you can manage to finish this entire essay without me planting a sentence of my own in there, I’ll give you a big bag of candy. How about that?”
The candy deal was probably a long shot, but most of the younger students she tutored went with it like crazy. To emphasize her point, Astoria fished out her own loot of candy from her purse. She placed it on top of their table and ripped it open to reveal a mixture of all candies possible. Fizzing Whizzbees, nougats, toffees, jelly slugs and all manner of candy known to Honeyduke’s. As her fingers dove into the bag, she watched a couple of students stare at them. Astoria turned to Seamus when he regarded of them rudely before sighing. “I suppose news doesn’t die down so quickly after all.” She shook her head. “It’ll pass. Just don’t know how long this time. Rita’s only ever released tidbits, but she released kisses this time so I can’t be… too sure.”
“The worst part about it--” Seamus knew he should be concentrating on the work at hand, and he would, but right now those bloody kids and wedged themselves into his thoughts. “-- is that the article? The article those gobshites and all the school read? Yeah, that’s the first I heard of it.” He looked up, eyes meeting Astoria’s. “Any of it. Even the bit about... ye know, me. I was so trashed that night. The fuckin’ ball and all and I-- I blacked out. Completely. Bloody Rita Skeeter remembers more about it than I do. Pathetic, right?” Running a hand through his mussed up hair, Seamus tried to let it go. Easier said than done.
“Anyway, you said something about candy, aye?” Turning his eyes back to the starter sentence, he pulled the parchment to him. It wasn’t half bad, really. The more he thought about it, the more his mind began to fill in the blanks. He picked up the quill, twirling it once between his fingers before writing down a second sentence. Then a third. It felt nice to think about something else than the stupid drama buzzing through the school. “What about you, girlie? The rumor mill spreadin’ what’s accurate or not?”
Front Page Fiasco || Nat & Open
natalie-mcdonald:
“No, I really don’t.” She sighed at his nudge and ran her fingers through her hair. “It’s not just him. First it was the Carrows, and then if was Blaise, and then it was Blaise again, and then… Wayne left me when I needed him most.” Her body began to shake and her voice got caught in her throat. “Why do people do that, Shay?” She let herself sink into his arms, her hand clutching at his shirt to keep him from leaving. “I’m tired of feeling this way, Shay.”
“Hey, ‘m not going anywhere, yeah?” As glad as he was the Nat was opening up, he couldn’t help but feel worried. His own issues taking the backseat as his thoughts became consumed with how unfair it was. Slowly, Seamus smoothed over her hair again and again, trying his best to comfort her. “Not everyone is like that. There are decent enough people and they’re worth holding out for-- not that I know what I’m talking about, going stag to the ball ‘n all.” Lightly, Seamus rested his cheek against the top of her head and sighed. “It’ll get better, girlie. I promise ye. First it’ll suck for a while, but I’m here and I’ll be here whenever ye need me.”
Starshine--Dean & Seamus
deanxthomas:
Seamus’ aim was always impeccably off. Come to think of it, this could easily be why he never made the Quidditch team, but more importantly it’s what saved Dean from getting whacked upside the head. He should have known better, of course he should have, but that’s never stopped him in the past. “Haven’t you ever heard the phrase, ‘it’s bloody one in the afternoon and even Binns is awake and you’re still not out of bed’?” He quipped back, a grin spreading wide on his face.
He rolled his eyes. “Such dramatics,” he mumbled to himself before leaping across to his own bedside table where there was always a glass of water waiting. He picked it up and peered inside, unsure if the contents would contain actual water or paint water. It looked clean enough, and he uttered an Aguamenti and the cup filled to the brim with the clear liquid. “Need anything else? A pipe and a paper, perhaps?” He teased lightly, passing the water off to his best friend. That’s what he still was, right?
As Seamus was piecing together what he remembered from the previous night (or lack thereof), Dean was piecing together what it was that Seamus remembered. And with his comment and swat, Dean was realizing that it was next to nothing. He didn’t remember how Dean had said “I love you” first, or the kiss, or even Dean’s atrocious dance moves. (the latter he was secretly a bit relieved about) And Dean began questioning it himself. Did any of it even happen? Of course it was lovely enough to be a dream, and maybe there was a reason dreams were meant to stay just that. Lofty visions in your head.
He felt his stomach form into an uncomfortable knot. He could only relate this feeling to those occasions when Dean managed to get embarrassingly wasted (thanks to the Irishman, of course) and it wasn’t a feeling he welcomed a revisit. Especially when he was stone cold sober last night. “You really don’t remember?” He hesitated to say anything more because he himself wasn’t even sure. Seamus could have just been drunk. He always got overly emotional when he was drunk. “Nothing?” Dean twisted his fingers, finding any reason he could to avoid the inevitable. He gazed out at their feet, Dean’s almost hanging off the edge of Seamus’ bed. He wasn’t sure why, but he had convinced himself to feel a hint of embarrassment for thinking what had happened had meant something. Seamus was drunk, that’s it. That’s it.
“A paper and pipe? Who do you think I am, my dad?” Eagerly, Seamus took the cup, raising it to Dean before downing it all in one go. The water only helped sooth his throat, his pounding head? Not so much. He’s suffered many a nasty hangovers, but this one may take the cake for the absolute worst. At least he hand’t thrown up. Yet.
“No? Should I?” Dean was acting weird and with an uncomfortable jolt, Seamus realized that he must have fucked up. Again. Who did he get into a fight with? Oh god, had he hurt anyone? Made a complete asshole of himself? Putting the empty cup down, Seamus scooted over to sit beside Dean, his feet dangling next to his friend’s. Something was really off and his best mate’s silence only made it worse, until Seamus couldn’t bare it anymore.
“Come on, mate.” He leans over, nudging Dean with his whole left side-- like he had a million times before. It feels different now, though, and it’s more than the raging hangover that’s causing it. Seamus just doesn’t know what is. “Just tell me how bad it is. Whatever happened last night. Unless it’s murder, I think I can take it.”
Study Hall || Astoria & Seamus
littlegreengrxss:
Astoria granted herself a small giggle at Seamus’s words. The mention of Draco slowly brought her back to the time when she lost all sense of common ground at the Room of Requirement party. She had to admit that her actions were quite shameful. Only the sheer luck of Seamus interfering was a blessing one too good that she hardly deserved. Had she really gone as far as to go for a shard fight? She prayed she wouldn’t have to get in one again. Just the thought of it made her question who she truly was, or if the alcohol and the hatred towards Pansy was the reason. It had to be the latter… Right? “I’m just saying that you’re at a far better spot than him.” Astoria offered with a sweet smile, hoping that no more talk of Draco was to come between them. Then again, she hardly doubted that Seamus would back down at the talk of him. All her friends seemed to either continue or bring it up themselves. To diffuse such talk, Astoria tapped the quill she held on top of the parchment. “It’s not considered cheating if I only write a single sentence. Besides, it’s to better start you off. Maybe you just haven’t found the right words yet, and I’m merely helping you jump start it.” She winked at him knowingly. “But of course, if you don’t want just a tad bit of that extra help… I can understand.”
“Oh no no no no, I never said that.” Seamus looked over the sentence, reading it once-- then again before looking back up at Astoria. If their roles were reversed, Seamus couldn’t say for sure if he would still be sticking around to tutor her sorry ass. Alright, maybe that wasn’t true. He probably would. What had started as a pleasant sort of study buddy relationship had turned into a full blown friendship. It was why he hadn’t given up on himself, even if he still did think when it came to classes he was a bit of a useless bag of bones. Cracking a signature smile, Seamus lightly nudged Astoria’s arm. “Don’t think i’ve found the right words for the second sentence, either. Mind helping a bloke out?”
His smile faded however as a group of student walked by the table where he and Astoria sat. They were whispering, eyeing the two of them as they passed. Ever since the fucking heroes ball, stuff like this had become common place. Fucking Rita Skeeter. His hands formed into fists, his fingernails cutting into the skin of his palm. “If they wanted to talk so badly,” Seamus’ voice was barely above a whisper. “they should leave the fuckin library.”
