I fantasized how all the people in my life would end up. I thought many would be successful, overcome their adversity, reach for the stars, and be a direct or indirect member of my vision. Some I even pictured being on my team, kicking ass and taking names. Then reality sets in. Some didn't understand or accept my dream, let alone be a part of it. Some laughed, some complained, some got angry. Many left. Some died. Others messed with my head, broke my heart, tested my resolve, weighed and measured my belief and patience. It's like a party where all the kids try to break open the piñata and the parents make it hard. Some of the kids stop trying and go play something else. But I keep swinging. If I miss I'll swing as many times as I can. And I know for sure that some will come back for the candy when I bust that piñata wide open. It's been a frustrating day. It looks and SOUNDS like I'm on vacation but far from it. I push on even when the next problem jumps into my lap, big or small. Today the migraines were upon me! I come across this a lot. I'm in the trenches, believe that. There are people that believe being a REALTOR means I sit back and live an easy life. Nothing could be further from the truth. I could get a job and be secure. Or I could work my ass off for myself and make more, or make less, but I can't do both.
