this is so lovely (x)
"First of all, Adam Sandler officiated it. He came down, everybody laughed and thought it was a joke at first, but he actually did. He probably spoke for 20 or 30 minutes, vascillated between funny, very sincere, sang a few things, but you know—he sang during his officiating process. But if there was a key theme to his thing, there were two things I remember really distinctly. One is you know, in your typical vows, the officiator says, 'For rich or for poorer,' Adam said, 'You know, you're not going to have to worry about that.' And the second thing is, his key message was, 'Kiss each other. Every day, in the morning, at night, after dinner. Just kiss often.' And then Travis went first with his vows. He probably spoke for 30 minutes, and I don't want to violate his privacy, but I was crying, which I was trying to hold back, I mean, he made himself unbelievably vulnerable. I was sitting there crying and I was trying to hold it back until I look around and there's all these 300-pound men from the football business crying as well, and so I felt really comfortable, just kind of let go on it. It was very, very powerful. And then Taylor went, and she also wrote her own vows. She probably spoke for 30 minutes. And it was poetic. It was really well done. And then the last thing I'll tell you about the wedding, or two things that were really incredible. One was, you know, the vows and the ceremony were very solemn, very sincere, very emotional. Then they opened up, you kind of walked through this massive castle that they built, and by the way, you would never guess you're in Madison Square Garden, the way they did it. It was incredible. But you walk through this castle that they built, and behind it, they had all sorts of games, amazing giveaways to people, and then the stage, initially, Taylor and Paul McCartney sang, and then Taylor and Stevie Nicks sang, and then for the rest of the night, everybody, the whole entertainment industry is—I kept saying, 'If something happens to this building, the entertainment industry in the US is gone—they just popped up onstage and sang songs. So at one point, I was dancing with my wife, and without any exaggeration, I had Paul McCartney to my left, Brad Pitt in front of me, Cindy Crawford on this side, and I can't remember who was behind me. We're just surrounded by legends. [Going to a normal wedding after this] is going to be a letdown, that's for sure. But it was, they really calibrated the second part of it to their guests. I've never seen a wedding that was so designed to delight the guest and make sure they have a lot of fun. Usually, there's always this ongoing theme about the bride and groom. For them, the ceremony was very much about them. Once you went through that castle, it was all about the guests, and they went over the top to make sure everybody had a great time."
a man who can tell a roomful of a thousand people how much he loves you for 30 minutes straight and make grown men cry is exactly what taylor deserves 😌
it makes me want to cry for her. she changed his life!!

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced the 2026 nominees in two contemporary categories, including Taylor Swift and Miranda La
One month after being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Taylor Swift is nominated for induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Swift is vying for induction in the contemporary songwriter/artists category with Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Phil Vassar. One inductee will be chosen in this category.
The Nashville SHOF also announced eight nominees in the contemporary songwriters category. Two inductees will be chosen in that category. The honorees will be elected by Hall of Fame members and other professional songwriters and artists.
The entire slate of inductees elected in these and three other categories will be announced in the coming weeks and officially inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame later this year.
“Well-deserved congratulations to all the nominees in our contemporary categories,” NaSHOF executive director Mark Ford said in a statement. “We look forward to announcing those who will be inducted this fall as members of our Class of 2026.”
Since 1970, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame has enshrined 254 “of the greatest writers from all genres of music ever to put words to music in Music City,” as the organization puts it. Operated by the non-profit Nashville Songwriters Foundation, the Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring Nashville’s rich legacy of songwriting excellence.
As with the Songwriters Hall of Fame, all nominees experienced their first significant songs at least 20 years ago.
The fauxmois are calling Taylor Swift a republican because she took a flight to the airport in Florida that Trump named after himself instead of boycotting it by flying into a different airport

voguemagazine: @Juju Smith-Schuster and @Laura_Kruk have tied the knot. The wedding took place at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California, on July 10, 2026. The celebratory weekend began with a Hawaiian beachside welcome party in Laguna Niguel, a nod to the groom’s Samoan roots. The next day, the ceremony was set on a lawn overlooking the ocean adorned with white and green florals. The guest list was star-studded, even including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. “Seeing all of our family and friends mingling and making new friends was so fun to see.” Tap the link in our bio for more on the coastal California celebration.

also we’re going to look back and think about how insane ttpd was. like it literally might go down in time as the most disrespected album in her discography because the initial reaction is not in any way reflective of the quality of that record. it’s lyrically her magnum opus
and also lowkey i think production wise ttpd doesn’t get her due like she’s INVENTIVE on that album. the way she plays with country production on that album is the most innovation that genre has seen in decades
