And just… you were thrown out the window, but you could grab at the frame, altough the window shards were still there and your hand got all bloody and hurt and I just… couldn’t get to you. I couldn’t. Those things kept kicking me back, yanking me back, grabbing my lag and pulling me back, and I just couldn’t reach you. There was fire in the apartement, and I just choked on the smoke, and you probably were too, and I just… couldn’t reach you."

They had started out pretty innocent. Jason had simply dropped by the institute in order to visit Pan since he had been bored and knew that the Shadowhunter was practically always up for some fun. However, it was not long after Jason had entered the room that he had found himself in the other’s bed, casually making out with him. They were both hot, attractive, good-looking so that happened to them from time to time but it was okay, was fun. Not exactly what Jason had come looking for but he most-definitely wasn’t complaining. In fact, he was pretty much enjoying himself. He still got the feeling that something was missing, though. It was nice but it wasn’t mind-blowing, wasn’t awesome yet. So in-between some kisses Jason murmured something along the lines of “Let’s get drunk and fuck” which was more than invitation enough. Both grinning widely they agreed on how absolutely perfect that sounded and made their way outside, not caring that they both looked exactly like what they had done only minutes ago.

[beat-up meme] Pan widened his eyes at the sight of a beat-up girl who was crouched against a corner as if left to die. Without saying a word he stepped closer, trying to estimate the damage before he carefully lifted her up, gently pressing the small girl against his warm chest. "Don't worry", he whispered before he hurried to one of his hide-outs and started to treat her wounds, letting out a relieved sigh when he noticed that she was a Shadowhunter. This would make things way easier.

"Who are you?"Clary asked, her voice breaking as she found it hard to breathe. She didn’t recognize this person. Not in the slightest, how had he found her, and why was he helping her. It was confusing.
