Someday you'll wake up and realize that all your dreams and wishes slowly became true or are becoming reality. For me, it was this morning.
Cockroach
I am scarred.
I came home tonight from a lovely dinner with some coworkers to a cockroach IN MY BEDROOM. To say I freaked out would be an understatement. I spent far too long selecting my weapon (shoe). (Is it heavy enough? Will I wear this shoe in the next week? Can I get the right leverage--it was near the baseboard--to kill it?)
After applying seven, ten, fifteen good whacks, I went to retrieve the dust pan... Upon my return the primordial being started moving its legs. (It was upside-down at this point. But who knows, it could have flipped over and started colonizing Apt. 212.)
I quickly scooped up the thing and almost ran to the toilet where I flushed it for a good minute.
I thought I was safe, I thought I would never have one in my apartment. Well, it looks like I will be investing in some pesticide tomorrow on my way home from work...
worst moment of my life - life changing
yesterday, i was sleeping. woke up to a loud sound that startled me. i jumped up, threw on clothes & opened the bedroom door, not knowing that i would be facing an unknown male standing right in my face....... i am unharmed, but really shocked. i never thought i would feel so violated, so scared, so confused.
God definitely protected me from hurt, harm or danger! i will never forget the face of that individual. i just pray that i become comfortable again & feel safe, but right now, i trust NO ONE.
