I recently found a cassette tape from our family answering machine. I was nine years old when this message was left, by a boy from my 4th grade class. I have been thinking a lot about bullying and was so curious how this person who used to terrorize me ended up. According to Facebook he is a happy, successful, father of three children. I couldn’t help but contact him to talk. He couldn’t have been more apologetic and remorseful. I asked him why he acted that way and he expressed that he felt insecure and said he had a crush on me and felt rejected. He couldn’t have be more kind. You never know what is going on internally with someone else. The bully here was actually the person in pain. #nevertoolatetosaysorry #forgiveness #nomorebullying
