Your accent I s2g, it's the accent. I legit wanna do a dissertation and shit on this because it's SO different. Plus y'all have different slang and some of your sentence structure is wonky compared to French French.

One time our friend went to Paris and she was talking to this girl and all of a sudden the girl said “Oh. You’re Canadian. I’ll just speak your language.” And our friend was like “But I can speak French” And the Parisian girl was just like “No”

Haha I'll take you up on that! I just emailed the prof who deals with French linguistics to see if he thinks it's a good research topic (he'd be the one to supervise my diss if so)

It'd be cool to have you around, and I mean there's young Alaska too who (I think) is around 15 or 16 if memory serves me right so there's the age gap so the difference in slang and... stuff? I don't know I mean I have to narrow the topic to a certain level. But it'd be sort of interesting.
